Which songs/bands would you guys like to hear Matt cover? Either in a live setting or on an album? For some reason I just imagined Matt singing "Karma Police" by Radiohead and I think it would be the perfect cover for him to do. Any thoughts?

I absolutely love I miss new wave and Born to Kill. I think that Lets Get it On is going to be one of those I become addicted with as well. It really says something special that Matt can go in and with a new band re-create songs we love and in some cases possibly even better them with time and tweaking.

A good representation of this is Pearl Jam. A lot of their television performances sound horrible. Go to a live show though and it's a totally different experience. Weezer is another band who sounds pretty bad on tv.

I live in the States. I am going to be out of the country for a decent ammt of February. I will be back and want to go to Hamilton but it would be a 3 hr drive to Buffalo and another couple hours from there during a time where weather is unpredictable. If I go to Hamilton it will be taped, but right now it looks like I will be missing this. It seems like all the good bands skip over Pittsburgh and if they play Buffalo or anywhere close it always ends up being in the winter time. I'l probably end up paypaling some $$$ for shirts/merch etc.

I loved the live road series. I am extremely optimistic about this upcoming tour after speaking with a few of you. It seems that there will be a decent amount of shows recorded by members of the board (and some non members) Great times ahead!

Anton that is an excellent idea. I would love to that as well. Our a tour program even that would describe each song/memorable shows/etc

Flashdance II would be amazing. I am thinking Weapon Apparations Alert Status Red. Or he could go with the American BM version and do Everything Is Automatic Deep Six Apparations. Hell he could go up there and tell us the difference between a goat and a donkey and it would be worth it. BM in full is the dream setlist.

But on the flip side of this imagine being a casual listener coming to hear load me up and then hearing the new version and being completely lost. I took the term "Beautiful Midnight revisited" to mean he is revisiting songs that haven't been played in 15 or so years. I believe the last performance of Jenni's song was from Buffalo in March of 2001.

I had mentioned this in a previous thread (maybe this one) but in towns where he is doing 2-3 shows it would be unique if he did some of the reworked versions live. For nostalgia I really want to hear the original versions though and I am sure many diehard (and casual) fans do as well. Either way this tour is going to be glorious

I was always under the believe that Matt wrote all the lyrics too. Probably just a mistake on the Japanese site's part.

Is Dave supposed to be credit as Lyricist on this? The japan site has Dave as lyricist on all the songs.

I have a lot of questions about this tour. Good questions not negative stuff. I wonder if the BM portion will be played as the original versions or if it will be the reworked versions. With the cities having multiple dates will their be some songs original version one night some re-worked the next? Also major kudos to Matt for doing this EP, this tour, and giving fans the ultimate holiday gift. I hope this tour is a huge success for Matt and all involved.

Very Curious as to how the set will be. Will it be BM and greatest hits or will some new songs be thrown in? I would love to hear Bad Guys Win live.

are you guys sure you missed it? I am listening to it now but I actually left the page open all night and kept hoping it wouldn't disappear. I will say this though the song is absolutely amazing. One of the best MG songs in recent memory. I was impelled to tweet Matt I liked it so much. In the times with the election and such I truly think this song could and would be a mammoth single. I selfishly feel like Chandler and Joey from Friends when they had the free porn and didn't want to turn off the TV. I don't want to leave Matt's webpage because I don't want to not be able to hear this masterpiece of a song.

I have a Mel Lastman square show on cd. Was this during the Underdogs era?

The odd thing to me about this album is I am not 100% sure if I prefer the album or demo versions better when listening to Cold Water, Tiger By the Tail, and Sons and Daughters. Matt did that good of a job with the demo's and his voice has a raw emotional sound to it that differs from his other albums. Hard to explain it but hopefully others hear it too.

I don't know any happy Maple Music stories. Everything I heard was negative. I know it's more common to hear the negative than the positive but I have heard enough negative to not ever want to deal with them

For any concert in Buffalo I would hold off and wait for craigslist. I had amazing tickets for the Pearl Jam show in 2013 for near $70 each. Same with Our Lady Peace when they played the Riviera. Amazing seats for $40. Also check and see if there are any RHCP facebook fan groups that may offer tickets at a better price. You should have no problem getting decent seats on craigslist as the date rolls near

The Honor Rumble in Buffalo should be fun to see. It will be a fun show

With the money he made I am sure he is having great dreams. His merch sells like fire on prowrestlingtees.com also Writing a comic for Marvel (Drax) I would say he is doing well for himself. Anyone who can retire before 40 has accomplished a great deal in life.
