I saw most of the first episode when it premiered last week. It actually did make me think I was watching a movie until the commercial breaks occurred. It was pretty interesting if you like that sort of thing.

;) I never ever thought of that as being a slap in the face. I agree with Chris. The only slap in the face to fans is when an artist doesn't come back. But maybe that's because I've never thought of Song For The Girl as being "filler."

Men at Work - Who Can it Be Now?

I'm always surprised at how many places of work want people to cover up their tattoos now, even though they are more culturally accepted. My sister couldn't even let a small tattoo show that was on her arm at an electronics store that she works at. Anyway, I've never had problems with tattoos myself. I think they're pretty darn cool. I'd love to get one someday, but I don't know what I would want on my skin forever.

I bake/cook/manage the kitchen in a restaurant.

I guess I'm lucky with my job in only the fact that it isn't boring. It is the most stressful job I've ever had. I don't get paid enough, and I work my ass off. But I guess I'd rather have a job like that than one that pays a lot and you do nothing but sit in front of a computer.

Yeah, I know I could probably get it online, but usually they sell Sloan stuff in Buffalo. I'm hoping I can get it cheaper without shipping and handling. I heard a couple songs Sunday when (I think) Chris Murphy was on the Edge talking about the new album. From what I heard, it sounded like good old catchy Sloan.

Yeah, I have to say I definitely like her better in Metric. But I do think it's great she can show she's talented in more varities of music.

I've heard both albums. I listed to the first one because everyone raved about it, but I thought it was crap. I heard the new one recently, hoping they got better, and I still think they're crap. So... I can't really give you a good comparison between the two. Sometimes I think I'm the only one who doesn't like The Dears.
