  1. I used to watch a show he was on many years ago - Jeeves and Wooster. He would play piano at the end a lot and sing. He is extremely talented. Thanks for the link to the clip!
  2. I've seen a few episodes, and they were interesting, but nothing made me want to see the entire season. Just seemed like a lot of tension between the different wives and all that jazz.
  3. I was going to say David Sedaris, but I don't think he's really considered a "comedian." A comedic writer, perhaps. So I'm going to have to go with Rick Mercer. I think my sense of what's funny is quite different from everyone elses. I also love Steven Colbert.
  4. Haha! That's pretty darn funny. I wonder what Green Day's reaction is.
  5. The backstories for the characters are definitely my favourite part of the show.
  6. Yeah, I just saw it myself. It was pretty lame. Maybe you have to be in the right mood...? I don't know, but I wouldn't recommend anyone pay anything to see it.
  7. When I smell a lot of body spray or cologne on a guy I think they're trying too hard. But yes, if it's light enough to just make you smell a hint of it, it can be nice. But usually if I can smell it, there's a ton if it being used. So... a little goes a long way.
  8. I think my favourite Ryan Adams album is Rock and Roll.
  9. I do not like either on guys. I know the smell of Axe because it reminds me of high school hallways, but I cannot honestly tell you I can tell the difference between cheap and expensive stuff.
  10. I do adore Ryan Adams and his music. I think he's an amazing songwriter. And I wonder if I'm the only one that liked the 29 album. I thought it was beautiful.
  11. The only problem with the fear one is that the quote is also from the Dune books. So people might think you're a science fiction nerd.
  12. He ruined one of my favourite bands so... not cool.
  13. Yep, Matt did vocals on Alarm Bells. And the other voice after they say "It won't work out" Matt repeats: "It won't work out"
  14. Yeah, that's probably the most forward of the pictures so far.
  15. I think I'm the only one that likes I/O better than Bellaclava. I think it's a way better album.
  16. Woah, I had no idea Limblifter had a MySpace... Why would they take Matt out? Hm.
  17. Broken Social Scene - Cause = Time.
  18. I would rather have Ninja Turtles than Scarlett Johansson.
  19. Yeah seriously! Everyone hates it because it's so catchy or what? It's a great song.
  20. Agreed. But small rant: you know what I hate? When OLP comes up in conversation, and the person goes "Ooooh, I love OLP!" and I'll say, "Really, what's your favourite song off of Clumsy?" "Clumsy? Which album was that..." because all people know of OLP (generally outside of Canada) is everything after Spiritual Machines. Okay, I'm done.
  21. Hm... is All Together in the NF store? I don't think I've heard it. Anyway, I would love it if Matt put out an album of b-sides. What is considered an "old demo" ? Left of Normal, Broken and Euphony? P.S. I like Comfortable Criminals better than Long Way Down.
  22. I like Pony Boy, but I'm kind of glad it wasn't released in place of Anti-Pop or whatever. I do think it should have been included on the album, though.
  23. Nah, I always thought I was the only one that liked the original better than the acoustic. It's way cooler. I'd be interested to hear what Vermilion would sound like acoustic.
  24. Haha, actually I was serious. Why is that weird? And I don't know what you're all seeing in The Prestige. It must be a guy thing.
  25. I don't think it's cliche. This is a Matthew Good board. ;)
