the coolest band on earth is the slackers, by the way. and if you disagree, that only makes them cooler.

it's weird seeing someone you went to school with in a music video every other time you switch on much loud. (the drummer, not matt).

i don' think i'd do this, but changing my name to "the dude" as a homage to the big lebowski would be awesome. i'd consider it, maybe, if i was ever wealthy enough to not have to care about job interviews and such ever again. as for serious names, i dunno.

...what would you change it to? keep in mind that obi wan kenobi is already taken by some dude in florida (true story, but the florida part might be wrong). i've thought about it cuz chris is such a common name. i was in a class once when i was a kid that had five of us. i don't know what i'd pick, personally. maybe make up my own name. there's plenty of allowable sound combinations in english that aren't being used as words yet. i could throw together some cool sounds and the combination of them could represent me. what about yous guys?

discovered today that i love charlie parker. he's all i've listened to all day, but it's the same thing as with miles davis: i couldn't put a name to a song to save my life.

10/10 - it's a cool album cover, even if i don't care for the band.

ooh...i thought of a couple: "minarets" and "don't drink the water" off of the 'lost acoustics' dave matthews band album. both longer than the originals and better for it. in fact, any live version of a song that i already like, but that has extended jamming or variation is hella cool.

what's the lamer version? i have the mc5 "kick out the jams" album. you mean the rage cover?

i can't narrow it down to songs, just favorite live albums.
