  1. whatever this says at any given time: http://www.last.fm/user/changeofseason
  2. dead kennedys: start with "plastic surgery disasters" bad religion: anything from "suffer" up to "stranger than fiction" good riddance: anything other than "for god and country" nofx: "so long and thanks for all the shoes" or "the war on errorism" are my favs propagandhi: "less talk, more rock" or "today's empires, tomorrow's ashes" are my favs. to very different sounds, but same messages. ramones: "anthology" misfits: "box set" clash:"clash on broadway" that'd be a decent starter collection.
  3. i got degredation trip today. liked it a lot. as for alice in chains, i wish they'd ditch that name. it'll never be the same without layne's haunting vocals. stay together or whatever, but ditch the name. it's like the misfits without danzig...just not the same.
  4. from the foot of a taco bell employee, i would imagine.
  5. defend her? canada's a woman? i might join a resistance group or something, depending on how shitty things got, but i wouldn't outright 'take up arms' and march off to die for the idea of a country.
  6. nope. not a chance.
  7. i think courtney had a hand in it, but that if she hadn't he woulda offed himself eventually anyway. pisses me off that cobain gets this much discussion, but that no one noticed when layne staley died.
  8. recipe for hate-bad religion
  9. i've never actually heard his solo stuff, but i love alice in chains. i might have to check it out.
  10. avalanche audio of being beautiful midnight white light rock n roll review underdogs last of the ghetto astronauts (hate it...don't know why i still have it). and for ep-ish things: rooms loser anthems raygun
  11. same. i probably wouldn't go.
  12. that sounds pretty close...and it makes more sense than taco bell shoe.
  13. i love the song (love the whole album for that matter), but i can't figure out what he kinda murmurs spoken word starting at 2:42. anyone?
  14. "blue skies over badlands" in downtown beirut.
  15. cool, thanks. i always thought that was such an awesome line, and then when i read it the way it's spelled everywhere i kinda felt like an idiot.
  16. that tele was sexy. so's the strat, but for 2k, i'd rather buy a new fender (or more likely g&l) and have some spare change left. by the way, i'm new around here. sorry if i revived any dead threads.
  17. the fine art of falling apart or fated.
  18. i sold all my cd's last year, but at that time, i had all the official releases, except lofi b-sides. i still have them all as .ogg files, plus the in a coma cd/dvd, and one copy of loser anthems (#06040). i had two copies of that, but sold one with my cd collection.
  19. i have another question about this song. before i ever read the lyrics, i used to think he was saying "murphy's fighting ockham", as in murphy's law and ockham's razor, kinda like irrationality vs. rationality er something. but everywhere i've seen the lyrics written, it says "murphy vs. hockem". i was wondering if anyone knew who these two are? thanks.
  20. i agree with whoever above said nine inch nails (trent reznor is my second favorite songwriter besides mr. good). i'd like to hear him do a cover of "and all that could have been" or "the great below", or any of the more chilled out nin songs. also, i think he could do "comfortably numb" by pink floyd some justice.
