I got row 16 Ochestra left for November 14 show, which I'm fine with. I've seen MG enough, have met him enough that I don't really care where I sit and don't really care about VIP experience any more.
-
If I decide to go I'll let anyone who wants to meet up know. I have the day off because I'm on holidays, but I also don't really feel the need to get autographs or anything at this point - so much signed stuff already, doesn't seem like there's much of a point haha
-
The first one looks pretty legit, I am extremely skeptical of the 2nd as I have never seen him sign anything like that, but that doesn't mean he hasn't. I've attached an image so you can compare with a couple things I've had signed after shows (Avalanche in 2007, Headache in 2011).

Totally stoked to see them play tonight. I will likely be there early enough to plant myself in front of the stage, which will be wicked. And with it being the Biltmore, front of the stage means literally about 3 feet away from them. -
I did get around to playing it! I really enjoyed it. I also went with the sweetheart route, because I always do a "good" playthrough when I first play games. I'm really interested in seeing how those choices/rest of the story plays out. First episode did a really good job of setting things up I think.

Grim Fandango is fabulous. Bear in mind it will have some very obtuse puzzles because it's an old adventure game, but as someone who has played Space Quest you should be okay with that. I've purchased the Resident Evil Remake HD remaster as well as Life is Strange. Probably going to get Resident Evil 2/3 because they are super on sale on PSN and I miss those games immensely.

This is a song (like Non Populus) where Matt's love of Explosions in the Sky really comes through in some of the guitar parts.

The bassist would be Megan Bradfield. I am pretty sure she played on I/O - she was touring w/ Limblifter when they opened for MG way back when. She also played on Irrational Anthems, she did some cello in "If This Dance Catches On" by Mounties (who Ryan Dahle also plays with, and who are awesome), and she played on Seriously Serious, Oh Be Joyful and Big City Life if I recall correctly. She's a fantastic musician. The drum sounds on Dopamine remind me a lot of the drum sounds on the Mounties album, which is a very very good thing. -

All the shows are being billed as "album release party" shows, so it's looking pretty good. -

According to the Limblifter twitter account, it looks like a new album with a tentative release for March, plus a BC/Alberta/Ontario tour announcement sometime this week. Excellent. -
Nope, no new song up. Just a big image that said "Welcome to the Future; Happy New Year"
-
Or it could be neither and he just wanted to photoshop something. Who knows? Matt probably knows.

And might be called "Tiger by the Tail" if the image on his website is anything to go by.

Tomb Raider is fucking awesome and you should buy it immediately. http://www.gog.com/ is also a great site for games. Huge focus on older games and lots of indies as well, and they're DRM free and usually contain bonus goodies as well. https://www.humblebundle.com/ also has some wicked deals - usually in the bundles, but also in the Humble Store at times, though the store interface kind of sucks and there's no way to wishlist stuff there. Most of the games there will be redeemable on Steam, and in fact, they have Tomb Raider: GOTY edition on sale for $7.49 right now. Also, while we're on the topic of bizarre games where the main character gets assassinated, I highly recommend Long Live the Queen: http://www.gog.com/game/long_live_the_queen

I was being crushed at the barrier in front of the stage and getting kicked in the head a lot that night.

You can blame her father for that one. This is the first song I heard by Kandle and it got me hooked right away:
