  1. Alright...this will be great. Paul IS full of himself. He's Paul McCartney. He was a Beatle. More importantly, not Ringo. He plays all the instruments in his new video because he plays all of the instruments on his new album (which, I was surprised to find out, was Nigel Godrich's idea, not Paul's...). And while we're talking about full of themselves, I don't think anyone was more full of it than John and Yoko themselves, or rather, JohnandYoko itself. Sure, Yoko is a flake but she and John deserved each other. John needed Paul just as much as Paul needed John. Don't get me wrong, I love them both, but Paul had a better sense of melody where John had better lyrics. Mostly. John was not a saint, he was just as much ego as Paul. If he were still alive I wonder what people would think. And sorry, but I gotta ask, when exactly did Paul ruin the Beatles? Cuz I'm pretty sure he was the Beatles for the last year before they broke up. Paul was the last one to quit, if I remember correctly, which was long after they'd stopped being the Beatles already.

  9. And he was all drunk. Drunky.
  10. Ummm, emo? You guys are all drunk. All of you. I love the reworking, it was one of the most pleasant surprises. It's similar to when artists cover other artists; the covers sound better to me when they take a different approach to the original. In this case, Matt covered himself, but still took a different, interesting approach to it. In closing, I like it.
  11. I put this back in my player this week and holy crap, I love this album. I think it goes much further than an '80s goth record, though. If you listen for it, it's really classic Corgan. The only song I really don't care for is "Now (and Then)".

  18. Alright, I will be straight with all of you. I love ABBA. A lot. Like, I know all the words to everything. I'm so sorry.
  19. I dig it, there aren't any effects on the vocals this time. The riff could be toned down a little, but I will probably buy this record.
  20. Just listen to all the records, it is well worth it. Don't forget Gord's two solo efforts.

  22. I really don't have anything bad to say about the disc, I loved it. NAFL was a really pleasant surprise, though. I didn't want to know what was on it, so I never read the tracklisting and avoided all threads on it. The whole thing was a surprise, except for Tripoli and PTD, which Matt mentioned putting on there.
  23. I find the parallels to MG's releases pretty funny. A beautiful mistake...haha. I hope you aren't actually a huge snob. Good luck.
  24. Umm, can someone record this for me? My computer will not let me listen live....
