  1. As for my answer: Peaches by The Presidents Of The United States Of America I'm not sure it was the song itself, or the video, or a combination but something clicked in with me.
  2. Guided Tour of Matt's High School (making of Alert Status Red) http://www.yousendit.com/transfer.php?acti...8E558760B1F69AE - I also have videos of the making of: The Audio Of Being (going coastal - Weapon (making of) - In A World Called Catastrophe (making of) - Matthew Good interview at CBC Newsworld - a strange dubbed interview on Matthew Good in Japan during the Loser Anthems stage - Too Hot Or Not featuring Matthew Good (solid gold) - Matthew Good reading passages from his book "at least there is nothing left to say"/interview with George S. Make me deals (more benefits with the NF site) and I'll put them in the NF Lounge or something.
  3. Just to add something, the band would be really, really stupid to NOT release "From Yesterday" as their third single, F.Y.I.
  4. ^Great opener Blind by Korn I guess.
  5. Muchmusic and even MuchMoreMusic didn't touch It's Been A While Since I was Your Man.
  6. What the hell does that supposed to mean? NOW *clicking on the link* This is a terrible, terrible list of songs. Especially when you consider the fact that people love "the latest buzz" and automatically add what they currently dig in music. IE: 03 - Blue October - Hate Me 04 - Angels And Airwaves - The Adventure 05 - Billy Talent - Devil in a Midnight Mass 06 - Wolfmother - Woman 07 - Franz Fallen - The Fallen Worthless, worthless list.
  7. Hands Down - Dashboard Confessional (ugh)
  8. Recovering the Satellites is a great album. There's not a lot of guys in the industry to can put more heart/emotion into his vocals. Their later stuff is complete garbage though--ie: the title of that horrible cover song that escapes me right now. But yeah, Recovering The Satellites is a gripping, edgy disc for the most part; I used to own their first album and thought it was alright. They were kinda more folk/alt. country then if I can say that...and I guess I just did.
  9. It's difficult for me to choose. I think Frances The Mute has a lot of unnecesary filler (mainly before and after tracks) but both are stellar albums. Just like to add something, I used to love loove these two cds but kinda stopped listening to it because I first got SICK of Sparta (yes, I know they were the BAD half of atdi) but then I became extremely annoyed of ATDI. ATDI's first two cds plain out fucking suck--Relationship of Command was one of my favourite albums in the past but it got tiresome after the while and the vocals are pretty much emo shit to me these days. I remember when I used to think that Invalid Litter Dept was a brilliant song--ha, no chance these days. In all, I'm scared to put the two Mars Volta cds on again because I'm afraid that I'll might not love them anymore.
  10. The Age Of Electric - Decamputate
  11. The Age Of Innocence - The Smashing Pumpkins
  12. S/T was leaps ahead better than A Beautiful Lie. Just look at the new video for "The Kill"--Jared and his boys are filled with dark eye shadow, not to mention dyed black hair as well and screaming unnecessary emo yelps with erroneous build ups.
  13. This is not the poll about the song that took the least effort to create or about his worst songs for that matter. As for the other guy, IAWCC...the closest Matt came to becoming a boy band? Listen to the damn song and ignore at the opening bits of the video with him and his acoustic guitar on that sofa. The rest of the video stabs at the 1000 lb gorilla that we have to deal with South of the border--that's pretty boy-band-ish, ain't it? If IAWCC wasn't a single, people would rank it as one of the best songs on the cd. People are stupid. If Weapon was a "cross-over hit" into Top 40 Radio, people here would hate that song as well.
  14. Overrated by casual fans, if I can even call them fans. Not even looked at by real fans as something "special" or great.
  15. I'll keep it brief. I think Symbolistic White Walls and I guess Haven't Slept In Years would have been the only singles that would have worked. Underdogs--keep all four in the same order. BM- Ha, singles we are talking? Not the most upbeat album in the world so leave it as it is; though, I never really saw the Future is X-rated as a "single" to me. Loser Anthems- Flashdance II, just how it was. Audio- I guess leave the original two as is but add Under The Influence as single #3. Avalanche- Leave IAWCC (vastly underrated song) and Weapon alone, Near Fantastica didn't really have "single" written over it, especially how the song was smushed badly with the radio edit. As mentioned before, and probably many times after me, if they found a way to edit "21st Century Living" without ruining the concept, it would have been a perfect single/video for a 4th single. Also, Double Life could have been the third single or follow the "third single musical concept" of an Apparitions/Strange Days and go with Bright End Of Nowhere. White Light - Clear first single, Alert Status Red. I never really saw IBAWSIWYM and especially In Love With A Bad idea has singles (was clueless) when they were annoucned and would have rather seen Buffalo Seven as the second single and We're So Heavy as the third single. If the album turned into a smash, release Little Terror as a fourth single. In a Coma, Oh Be Joyful works I suppose but come on, Big City Life would have been the clearest single to release since Load Me Up. Greatest Hits albums have released two singles before--I'm just not following with why he wouldn't go with it. Okay, that wasn't brief and probably was a waste of time.
  16. Some stupid girl sung Sugar We're Goin Down and she was accepted into the next round. I think Symbolistic White Walls would work the best.
