Yeah, he wouldn't want to "bore" the crowd at the start. Which reminds me, the second last time I was at Call The Office, Matt opened with Blue Skies Over Badlands and I remember the crowd just talking to each other the entire time as most of them were bored out of their minds.

Yeah, I'm really not into Matthew Good's version now that I finally heard it. Matt's interpretation really isn't working for me and having Melissa or whoever she is (a stranger singing Hurt) would really not help the case. And yes, I thought about the same--an all acoustic set might get a little dragging. I would have been better to start off acoustic maybe 4-6 songs, and then to get out those pedals.

Sure, I suppose I Miss New Wave could be in consideration but I've found most users here state that it's a consistently strong song. No way, this is a fan favourite and is one of "the core" songs off Loser Anthems with Flight Recorder... and ...Safe Distance. Oh wow, HTML fails again. Yeah, you people can still read through that mess.

I have that bootleg and it's freaking incredible. The highlight of my summer was going on an airplane from Detroit to Phoenix and listening to that bootleg for approx. three hours (the length of the plane ride). I swear, when we were just about to land, the third disc ended. CORRECTION: Phoenix to Detroit.

Demos or rarities will not be included at this time. The History Teacher set will also be excluded because...well there's just too much to choose from. Obviously, this will be impossible to please most of you but feel free to spill out what you think is underrated that isn't listed and I'll give you my reasoning. I define "underrated" as songs that people enjoy but aren't mentioned nearly enough as they should be for their highlights or favourites. That's why a track like Song For The Girl isn't included. And no, sorry, I really don't consider any songs off White Light to be underrated.
