  1. Zelda: A Link To The Past, Ocarina Of Time, Majora's Mask The Prince Of Persia Series GTA Devil May Cry God Of War Thats about the extent of my gaming. I don't really play much anymore though. Maybe that new Zelda will get me going again.
  2. Legends is a decent club to get drunk at. I've been there a few times and from what I remember it was one of the main clubs in Victoria. I'd have to say Sugar Nightclub is the place for live music. Actually I don't think they do anything besides live music. I have seen many a band there and it is pretty rocking. Then there's Lucky bar, a bit of a shit hole but for some reason it gets some decent bands. Damn I miss Victoria.
  3. Why all the 54-40 hate? Their last album is actually quite decent.
  4. Yeah, I'm not so crazy about that song but this album sure has some good ones. Where Is The Line, In The Fall, and Fallen Leaves stand out the most right now. This is actually a really solid album.
  5. Oh the glory that is Youtube.com. I love how I can catch the City and Colour and Metric performances without watching the actual MMVA's.
  6. I didn't think he was lost. In fact, if this is the case I think he was found for over a year now.
  7. If its any consolation, I think you're a loser. Edit: Yeah, I'm kidding... I think we all know who the real loser is... uh... George Bush? Wait, maybe I should listen to that song again. ;)
  8. Yeah this has been done thousands of times but I bet this poll could be done once a year and have completely different results. I'm really surprised The Audio Of Being is winning, I thought most people were into Avalanche. Beautiful Midnight for me. I don't think anything MG related will top that one.
  9. Its here!! It rocks. Fuck yeah. ;) http://www.sendspace.com/file/3lfmnt Billy Talent II [2006] [192kbps, mp3] 1. Devil In A Midnight Mass 2. Red Flag 3. This Suffering 4. Worker Bees 5. Pins & Needles 6. Fallen Leaves 7. Where Is The Line? 8. Covered In Cowardice 9. Surrender 10. In The Fall 11. Perfect World 12. Sympathy 13. Burn The Evidence Uh, I think some of the track names are mixed up though.
  10. Coheed and Cambria - Time Consumer
  11. Yeah I haven't listened to Domestica too much. Looks like I'll have to get on it. I love how this guy doesn't have the greatest voice and yet it works so well with the music. "My arms, my legs, my heart, my face they're alive!" And she would cry, "Liar, liar! What have I done? You're no lover, and I'm no fighter." For those interested, Happy Hollow, which is due sometime in August can be found here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=LRWXORHV
  12. I don't think I have heard anything mentioned about this band on this here site. Any fans? Anyone loved The Ugly Organ as much as I did? The brilliance that is Driftwood: A Fairy Tale... Anyways if you haven't heard them do so now: Myspace Their new album Happy Hollow is out in August and I'm currently enjoying the leaked version. Sounds like what the cello was to the Ugly Organ, the horn section is to Happy Hollow.
  13. They have a new song up on their purevolume page. Damn I can't wait for this album. http://www.purevolume.com/billytalent
  14. I guess this might be old news to some but I just found out about it. Apparently if you combine tracks 3,4, and 11 just right, they make a new song. Kinda neat but honestly I haven't listened to the album enough to tell the difference. http://rapidshare.de/files/21222787/TOOL3S...PANNED.mp3.html
  15. She looks pretty good in that picture there but I swear, sometimes she looks like a corpse. And unlike some, I'm not into that kind of stuff.
  16. Their new album has leaked... but I haven't listened to it yet. Updates to come.
  17. That Everclear album is the greatest thing since sliced bread. A+. The Offspring - The Kids Aren't Alright
  18. On Canada Day I'll be checking out FoxFest with a bunch of my buddies. Billy Talent, Thornley, Armchair Cynics, Theory of a Deadman, among others will be playing. There will also be a handfull of us checking out the Warped Tour Vancouver Date. Underoath, The Academy Is, Thursday, Saves the Day, Moneen, Rise Against, Motion City Soundtrack, Kincaide, AFI, plus tonns of others. Should be kicking.
  19. Bedlight For Blueeyes - Jumper (Third Eye Blind cover)
  20. Constantines various live stuff For those of you who are interested, here's some decent quality live recordings of the Cons. This includes Young Lions and The Long Distance Four, possibly their two greatest songs. Cheers
  21. It sounds good for the most part. Well done. I'd have to say that the Intro sounds a little akward still. Something just doesn't click. It almost seems like if you scrap the beginning and start the song off with the verse (which sounds fucking sweet by the way. Sounds like you have a lot of different layers in there.), it would sound a lot better. Other than that, the vocals sound great and the drums are a little loud. Good work.
  22. You know, I've gotten to the point where I just don't fucking care. If I like a song, I really don't give a second thought to telling anyone. That said, some songs that I like that could possibly be embarassing would be: TATU - All About Us Kelly Clarkson - Low/Since U Been Gone Vanessa Carlton - White Houses Avril has some well written songs... I'm With You, Nobody's Home Evanescence is pretty good sometimes Blink 182, The Darkness, Barenaked Ladies, Hedley, James Blunt... are they that bad though? There's a ton of 80's pop that fucking kicks ass... Journey, The Outfield. I could go on but I won't.
