Does anyone have any idea as to who will be playing with Matt for the upcoming tour? Will it be the Avalanche/WLRRR team? The Limblifter team? Or some new people? Or even, dare to dream, part of the oft-rumoured acoustic tour? Anyone? Anyone? Bueller?

Being in Vancouver I heard all of his stuff on the Fox, since the first seeds. I always liked it, but I was never really a big CD buyer. I would just make the "safe" buys, so I never picked up LOTGA or Underdogs. By the time Beautiful Midnight came around, I had loosened my "CD buying policies", and picked it up. Instant love.

I've only been a "concert goer" in the last few years, so I never saw him with the Band. I saw the Avalanche tour at the Commodore. The Canada Day show at Richards on Richards. And finally the Arts County Fair debacle. I so very much wanted to see when he came through with Wil and then again with Limblifter & Auf Der Mar, but lack of money and no one to go with prevented it.

I used to think that all radio was ass, but I found a station based out of Victoria, 91.3 The Zone. It's a "modern rock" station that plays a surprising amount of some "indie" rock. First time in years I have been voluntarily listening to the radio.

I agree with both points. Whenever someone asks me my favourite colour, I say Vermillion. I get a lot of blank looks.

Well, you can tell he cut his set short. He played for about an hour, or even less. And thats including the time that he left the stage after Carmelina. At first, Matt took it light as well, "...But now you have no shoes!" but even after he was pissed and told everyone to stop, they just kept on throwing. I mean, really. SHOES?

Someone somewhere on one of the variations of some sort of Matthew Good board once posted all of HIstory Teacher for easy download, so i have all of those.

I think he should continue to grow and evolve as a musician and the album will sound nothing like any f his ither stuff, while still being "matthew good". (perhaps some alt-country or nu-metal. or! hip-hop! how great would that be!) But seriously, as much as I do love Avalanche, I want something new and different. If I wanted Avalanche, I'd listen to Avalanche again. I just want to say Avalanche one more time. Avalanche.

I have nothing of importance to add to this thread, other than pointing out (which has probably been done before) that his name rocks.

I'll say Underdogs. I still love the CD, but for some reason it's just always been my least favourite.

I've seen them open for Big Sugar and then again for their own show. Simply amazing live band. High energy and some nice covers. At one point the band left the stage, except for the drummer who just blew everyone away with some crazy-ass drumming.

I've always really liked Strange Days. But then, I like all MG videos. If I were to make a top 20 music videos list, at least half of them would be Good.

I could be wrong, but I think the one from 15 Hours... is titled End Song (with space), while the one off Broken is Endsong (no space). But, not having actual copies of any of the demos (and not being matthew good) I could be wrong.
