there are reasons as to why no one else listen to hum and the mighty mighty bosstones. specifically the latter. i dont mind me some hum on occasion, but i dont think they're underappreciated, i think that the level that they are appreciated at is fairly accurate and appropriate. i think the melvins and kyuss are fairly underappreciated among today's youth, but i might be wrong.

no one's really proven why one is better than the other.

it's not that good. i think it falls flat of what it promises to be. most of the hype around this album comes from the single "mojo" which is alright but it has dumb lyrics, and the fact that nora jones swears on the track she guests on. i dont think it's as good as the general patton vs. the executioners project he did last year (or was it the year before?). as for me, i recently bought return to cookie mountain by tv on the radio. i've only given it a few listens, but so far i'm really enjoying it. this album has to be one of my favorites of 2006... i've never heard anything quite like it. it's atmospheric, abrasive and hypnotic without becoming too self-indulgent. if your attention starts to linger, you can always expect the driving/pummeling beats to guide you on your way through this intense album. i'm going to take my time with this one.

yeah. its essentially going to be like zwan and billy's solo project except with a name that actually carries some credibility along with it. -

Metal - Maybe Wrong Sorta Fansite?

it's another way to convey an emotion. i never used to like any sort of screaming or yelling because i didn't understand the need, but i've slowly come around. different people express things in different ways, and if you feel the need to yell, go for it. -

You sir are a god... may I have your babies? nah its okay, i dont like children. -
i dunno... these websites seem to be trying to pull a lot of information out of nothing. i think that as long as kurt's parents are satisfied with the idea that he killed himself, there's no reason for an investigation. whether or not he was killed makes no difference to us, the fans. his personal life does not belong to us beyond what he's revealed in his music, which is quite a lot in itself. i accept that the man killed himself. a lot of people can't seem to do that because they feel they were robbed of a great thing. as a result, they justify his death by saying his life was taken by someone else, rather than by the man that they have so much respect and admiration for.
