yeah that lego idea is pretty smart. i might use that one or if i can find enough boxes, id like to go as a robot.

that is just plain retarded. because he includes stickers (badass ones, ill admit) in the album art, he cant chart? they dont say why it gives an advantage. as opposed to those artists who release albums and do so with bonus dvds included or posters or what have you.

i dont understand that logic at all

Because it's stupid to think you should always do all that you feel like doing at any given moment. The whole instant gratification obsession so many people have is a serious problem for society. but it's also stupid to assume that there's this universal standard of good and bad, which is fundamental to the whole guilty pleasure concept even existing. people shouldnt feel guilty about listenning to WHAM! because the majority of their friends generally disapprove, or because a plethora of music critics say that WHAM! stink. people are always going to come up with rationalizations as to why you should feel guilty about liking something, regardless of what it is. people feel guilty because they know they shouldn't be liking that certain thing, but who the hell dictates that anyways? it's absurd. i fail to see how feeling guilty is improving the quality of life in this society of ours... maybe you need to explain that a little more. i'm not talking about instant gratification anyways, im talking about being comfortable with who you are and what you enjoy. embrace it, don't feel guilty about it. obviously, if someone cites "heroin" as their current guilty pleasure, that overwrought-with-guilt feeling might just be what's left of their conscience... but that's an extreme example. most of the things people are listing here are kinds of music, video games, etc.

i dunno. i dont think i have any because if you truely enjoy something then there's no sense in feeling guilty about it.

velvet revolver certainly have good stylists. i'll give them that. it looks like they lost a bet to rob halford or something. BUT so long as slash DOESNT have a bottle of jack daniels in his hand, i dont care about him. scott weiland could never sing, i dont know why he thinks he can now... frankly they're washed up. i'll used janes addiction as an example. i realize they arent a supergroup and are broken up, but if you form a band around the basis of drugs and decadence, and that is the lifestyle of the band in your formative years, what gives you the impression that you music will still be good when you take the drugs out of the equation???! im not advocating irresponsible drug use, nor am i saying that drug use of any kind = creativity, but please dont piss on me and tell me it's raining. its like when billy corgan turned christian/happy. he no longer had that "umpf" to his music that made it the least bit interesting. again, not saying depression = creativity. tell that to linkin park, seether, evanescence, and a whole world of other painful things to listen to. for audioslave, they lack passion. whether that passion is in politics or something else, that band needs to rock our faces off and has yet to really do so AS A BAND. they have moments of glory from time to time, and on all records. revelations isn't half bad but it dabbles in mediocrity when it should be experimental and make me want to go do something with my life. i've lost my train of thought. -

i like my name. if i had to change it, it would be stegasaurus (sp?). -
tatoos are generally frowned upon by those in the business word, but who are they to dictate what's tasteful? afterall, they are the ones who have useless piece of cloth hanging from their necks. it's all about conventions. tats are becoming much more in vogue so i would imagine that policy towards them is slowly becoming more lax. i have no proof of such claims though. the surge in popularity of tatoos has a lot to do with the "me" culture we live in at the moment. everyone wishes to set themselves apart from the rest. everyone has a myspace, a blog, a cell phone that takes pictures and many other things that allow a person to stamp out their identity and prove that they're different, unique. i think body modification is in the same vein.

Emily Haines & The Soft Skeleton

same. i find her messages get lost behind forgettable drum beats and guitars when she's with metric. musically, i dont like them much, but i've always liked her singing. i really like the album. it is at a much slower pace but the music is more suited for the subject matter. -
zdzislaw beksinski... normally though, i just find random art on the internet and then forget the name of the person who made it.

i think 48 other people also had problems because thats the amount of times this thing has been viewed, but no one has commented.
