  1. Sadly, no. she actually turns out to be a lesbian (no making out or anything though. she isn't the focal point of the story. ) What a let down.
  2. I just watched Beef Consume, and I can never get enough of how whenevr the brothers fight they try to climb trees and get away.
  3. You mean with Tarzan Dan before he left for radio? Then I think it went away and eventually became Chart Attack.

  8. Yeah, Paul is on CMT. Othar than Shania Twain riding a horse in slow motion, the only reason I slow down when I flick past that channel. I think the guy from Are You Afraid of the Dark is the one on the weather channel? I don't know for sure. But, C.O.P.S. was an amazing cartoon, but I don't remember it being on YTV when I watched it. I hated Student Bodies and I especially hated Breaker High. Student Bodies was neat at times with the cartoon thing, but I remember seeing one episode, where the cartoons were on trial or something, and I thought they were just getting lazy so i decided to never watch it again. That and even back then teen dramas made me sick. And speaking of that, Breaker High was one of the worst ideas for a show ever. Why would their highschool be on a boat?! I hate it! Edit: But Alex Mack was hot. I'm not sure if it was the same girl, but I'm pretty sure she went on to be Tommy's girlfriend on 3rd Rock From the Sun. I had a crush on her.

  10. hahaha, I'm never going to be able to listen to the who again. But I used to watch the original CSI just for the one liner at the beginning, following by the intro to the song.
  11. When people list their favourite shows from YTV they can't help but date themselves a little. C.O.P.S. not COPS.
  12. hahaha. That was good. He sounds young. So full of spunk.
  13. I just saw it for the first time the other week. Very good, but very hard to watch at times. But in a good way.
  14. It's not the best. Very short. It's just kind of the best of the best of the VU, with a bit of new stuff.
  15. That was so painful to watch.
  16. The search feature never works for me, and I don't remember a thread on this, so here goes. Anyone else into Lou Reed, or The Velvet Underground? I've recently stolen the best of TVU, Rock n Roll Animal from my dad. They both got me hooked. Just based on those, and looking at how early they came, you can see how influencial they were in shaping rock music. I listen to it and just get the feeling like Reed's work really showed rock what it could do. I then listened to Transformer, which was amazing. Now I'm listening to New York, and love that in the liner notes he writes that it is meant to be listened to in one sitting and absorbed like a book or a movie. And the songs are all so well written. So, Lou Reed owns in my mind, and I made this thread. As far as I can tell, he is like an earlier version of Daniel Johnston, in the way that he influenced so many great artists. I think it was Brian Eno who said that The Velvet Underground only sold a few thousand albums, but everyone who bought one started a band. He is also the only person I know of who actually went through with the rock myth of releasing an album of just distortion, just to fuck with his record company. Anyway, anyone else all up in this?

  20. Wow, that was a fun ride.
  21. This looks like it could be very enjoyable. But I hope its not like one of those Showtime or HBO shows where all the jokes depend on the premise.
