  1. BLT with mayo, followed by a blood orange. Both amazing, I feel like I was high and didn't know it, so my tummy is super greatful.
  2. I don't get why this movie is getting such shitty reviews. I saw it and thought it was amazing, AND for the second half of the movie, I was distracted by the fact that my girlfriend was literally a missing person. But it was so good, I still enjoyed it and waited until it was over until I went into panic mode, which in hindsight is pretty terrible. Anyway, my theory for why critics are giving this movie hell is because first it was compared to Pump Fiction, which is stupid, it's nothing like it, and second, critics are starting to realize that Pulp Fiction wasn't THAT good. That's a whole other rant, but I think it's starting to make critics defensive about perfectly good movies that they still see the need to compare it to. Yeah. Edit: SPOILER (Highlight to View) The small scene where Ray Liota and the other guy shoot eachother in the elevator was one of the best short but sweet moments in all of cinema.
  3. Tragically Hip - Yer Favourites. Currently, Cordelia. My god what a band. Earlier I listened to TV on the Radio - Return to Cookie Mountain, and Tool - Lateralus. Oh, and earlier, California by Mr Bungle. Today my headphones are happy.
  4. I feel old. I used to be proud of my superior post count of over a thousand, then i started posting like once a month. now there's all the youngins with 3000+. I know how it feels to be sent off to a retirement home now.
  5. Sometimes I love him, but some day soon people are going to start noticing that he plays the same character in every movie, and too often he plays it pretty poorly.
  6. Hahahaha. When i hear that in my head, business is more like "bih-niss." Is that the same Fresh Prince flashback?
  7. How and why did he manage to look all the way back to May 5th, 2006?
  8. Hilarious! SPOILER (Highlight to View) I finally got to see a YTV personality detonate a nuclear weapon.
  9. I listened to The Fragile for the first time in a while last night. I know a lot of people don't like that and With Teeth for whatever reasons, but I still think both stand up very well, even when compared to past albums. NIN has a kind of inescapable nostalgia attached to it, so whatever Trent releases I think people will compare it to 1994 NIN, which isn't fair. Anyway, already a new album in April, the fact that he describes it with words like noisy, and that it's a concept album turn me on. Who else loses liquid like me?
  10. All the other members are people who innitially impress me, then I realize I don't know them that well. I'm having my second listen now, and I'm more excited. Damon! He has yet to make me want to puke. I even downloaded Democrazy the other day, and even though it was garbage quality it was just his song composure and singing style that makes it all so good. I can't wait to hear the other songs from this new band.
  11. Pixies - Doolittle. My first time. I can't not like a song called Monkey Gone to Heaven.
  12. I don't know of anyone who doesn't love this mofo. He also likes this guy, and so do I, and I really want that action figure.
  13. She has at least three email addresses, a voice like a choir boy, but no face. She did the rampage accross Canada after high school thing, but I never really found out how it went.
  14. Resident of Mississauga, and student at UTM. Has a face.
  15. I'm pretty excited because Damon can do no wrong, so far. After one listen I didn't fall in love with the songs or anything, but I liked them. It's going to be hard for me to get used to Damon's voice with something that isn't Blur-ey, Gorillaz-esque, or even Mali Music-ish.
  16. Prosis has been a member for a very long time, but somehow keeps a very low post count, which is strange because he's still a very prominant member of the bored in my mind, and probably many elses. (poor syntax)
  17. You solved the problem the best way possible -- with the unformatted text on Turn It In and the formatted version as back up here.
  18. I saw Hard Candy a few weeks ago after hearing lots of good things about it and it was unbearably bad. The last movie I watched was waydowntown. Excellent independant Canadian film. Once you really get into analyzing it it gets so much better.
  19. Has a consistant online personality, and can pull it off quite well at times. Has, at one point, had a haircut.
  20. Mrs. Jesus is on my Bored hero list. I have great e-respect for her. She was also immortalized in the series The Young and the Bored.
  21. My friends and I have been trying to learn how to lucid dream lately. Anyone else ever manage to do this?
  22. Same for me. Even the acoustic side I was just unimpressed with, though like everything after C&tS there are a few great songs. I think they have become more of a band best suited for live or best of releases.
  23. Hahaha, thank god you said that, because immediately after I said that I started wondering about the Boyfights. What a perfect show. Just like season 2 and 3, season one gets better every time you watch it because of the subtle forshadowing.
