True, but what (if anything) does that have to do with being ethnocentric? Well, I doubt I'm using it properly in its traditional sense. That's jsut the was I was tought to use it in some class I once had. What I mean is that I find it funny because I'm North American, and they are not, therefor I am superior and they are humourous to me because of their inferiority. I don't actually think that, but part of me finds it funny because, well because sometimes foreign things come off as funny. But in a nice way. It has little to do with ethnicity, but I'm pretty sure it's still a valid use of the word. If not, I'm sorry, blame teachers.

For me, when I actually make the effort to not say Christmas, it's not that I'm walking around on eggshells or afraid I'll offend someone, because I really couldn't care. I just try and be sensitive because I fear them awkwardly telling me that Jesus ate their first born child. In reality though, I really don't care, and I don't talk to enough people to worry about what I wish them. Though unrealistic, the fears I've expressed can be compared to saying some sort of joke about a persons parents, only to have them tell you they were killed in a horrible cara ccident seven years ago tot his day, or to make a joke about abortion only to find out that the person you told it to, was in fact, aborted. I'm making sense right?

My typing on MSN sometiems improves greatly because if I'm the right level of drunk I get really self conscious about all the mistakes I make and I go back and correct them before i send the message this is one big sentence.

This stuff is pretty funny to listen to in an ethnocentric sort of way. A lot of it's not bad, and even mroe of it is horrible. Listening to covers like this really reminds me just how good Matt Good is, because even though a lot of the elements of these songs are horrible, they are still noticably good songs.

I have a few times. More often and more damaging is when I would go on posting sprees after having not slept for over a day.

It really shouldn't matter, but I say happy holidays when I can just because I live in constant fear of making people feel awkward. Two of my best friends growing up only half celebrated Christmas and half celebrated one of those other fake ones, so I guess I'm just sensative to it. Also where I'm from there's a lot of people who aren't white anglo-saxon protestants, so you can never be too careful. But as for 'Jesus being the reason for the season', my uncle wore that on a pin one year and made his son wear it too. That's so wrong in so many ways that I like to ignore the Christ part of Christmas out of spite.

I thought it had a proper ending. Didn't fry go back in time and pushes himself into the freezing thing? I swear I remember reading a site a few years ago that had this big huge conspiracy theory and evidence that the makers of the show had that ending in mind all along and you can se clues all along the way. I remember because after reading it I became obsessed and had to own all the DVDs, but never got one.

Canadaville is a horrible name. I don't get why they would even call it that as a joke. And it is a little PR heavy, but it's kind of like someone travelling back in time and stopping the destriction of the WTC but only doing it to look good. Either way you help a lot of people and it doesn't really matter what your intentions are since they are outshadowed by the actual actions.

Anything considered breakfast food. If I don't get something breakfasty I start to hate my life. I'm also quite fond of simple pepperoni pizza, and most sandwiches.

I just busted out Pinkerton for the first time in a very long time. Still rockin'.

I've always liked the 12 days of christmas. Recently I've had the last 5 days stuck in my head, but i keep messing it up and it kills me. And in addition, every time I go into the grocery store near me, they are playing some horrible hip Christmas music. Once there was a rap song, which killed me, it changed into a dance christmas song. Then another time there was a Bif Naked Christmas song I think.

They won't bring it back because the show is actually smart, so less people find it funny. Family Guy's comedy is a lot more easy and stupid, and so it came after they found out how die hard the fans were.

It's fancy, but not too dancy. I'm drinking tea straight right now. Because I'm bad ass. Through and through.

I just had an exam that was going really well, until I found out that it was 1.5 hours, and not 2 like I thought. As a result my second essay answer was an intro followed by scribbles. I think I did well enough on the rest to pass though.

Y'know, as much as I like the song, the really specific parts in Black Helicopter bug me a little.

I don't much remember last year, so maybe in a few years I'll hear Matt sing the same thing about 1989 and I'll be able to really relate to it and get what he's singing about. For me it works, and it only helps to know the back story behind it. And I seriously hope that in 20 years people will still understand the George reference. If anything it may be a better reference down the road because we'll have hindsight to back it up.

I think I failed an exam on Monday, but it was an a course I didn't need so I'm not too worried, but that's still money down the drain. Just like I do every year, I have realized what a poor student I am, and vowed to change. Borntohula can attest to this I'm sure. Any money says I'm just as bad next term. Actually, this term was especially bad. I'm a little ashamed, but still proud of my ability to retain any knowledge at all with the amount of work and studying I actually do.

Two posts! Yah!

I was able to download it two hours after it was on because I missed it. And it was brilliant. I've missed then downloaded the last 4 episodes and watched them all at least three times. This show is possibly the most watchable show ever. EVER! Even though it will only be 13 episodes I can't wait for the DVD of this season. I hopes it's either cheap or loaded with extras.

I always liked the other books better. This one was just too loveable and simple. Kids find secret world, meet cute things, turns out there's a war, they fight it and run shit until they are old and grey, then they return back to normal so there can be sequels. Still good though, too LOTR with the creature fights though.
