It's true. I was very much impressed by her on stage and I've got Stranded in Suburbia but have yet to listen to it. Also, I have a crush on her. I already carved her name in my skin. I'm glad she's from Toronto, I think that will make it easier for me to see her way too often. Tadaa.

I originally heard Pierce Brosnan was to be Dent, and that they were considering Sam Rockwell as the Joker. As much as I love Rockwell I think that guy might make a better Joker (proof might be in the torture scene in Gangster #1). I also think an older Dent would be better though I think. Gyillinhal is often underrated because he is so overrated, but I still think the character of Dent is better to be Waynes former friend, and therefore better to be closer to the same age. God Batman Begins was good. P.S. Please excuse spelling mistakes, kegger. ;)

I voted Resevoir Dogs. I'm starting to think that as a director I like Roger Avery more. As far as I can tell he's a better director and the real brains behind the earlier stuff. Compare Pulp Fiction to Rules of Attraction on the visual level and Roger Avery takes a crap on Tarantino. As far as I can tell, the cool things from RD and PF were the story and dialogue. The stories, and I think the structure for both were Avery's as far as I can tell. Like I said, they are nothing special visually, so really all that Tarantino seems to be responsible for is the Tarantino dialogue, which Almost becomes a pretty boring gimmick, which is why I think Kill Bill didn't have much of that. It's no secret that the reason Kill Bill was well done on the visual level was just because of Tarantino's skill at ripping off other things. If it wasn't as cool as it was, I think most people would have just thought it was a convoluted mash up of too many styles. So as I see it, if Avery directed RD and PF they would have been far superior, and the team of both writing and him directing would have made for much better films than Tarantino put out after the two split. But then Avery hasn't pumped them out much, so it's hard to compare them career wise.

Best TV Comedy

I voted AD because I think it's the most clever and funny show on TV. But some of those others are sometimes just as funny and clever, mainly Scrubs, which I almost never watch, hense she gets no vote from this guy. -
I'm a very big fan of cereal. If I go without eating it after I wake up I stop wanting to live. Last year in residence I decided to hang every empty cereal box I had from the ceiling, but by christmas there were too many and I realized hanging garbage from the ceiling wasn't that cool. I'm currently on Lucky Charms, but today I bought Raisin Bran for when I finish the LC.

I thought it looked good and my mommy and daddy bought an illegal copy and they liked it, but when I saw the trailer for it my friend made a comment comparing the premise to Whole 9 Yards and I'm afraid that ruined it for me.

I got mine at HMV for like 7 bucks. It's easier to buy then rent nowadays.

Seriously though, I vote It's All Gone Pete Tong if that counts as a musical movie. I guess it does, it's just not a musical. I was too narrow minded about this thread. You opened my mind guy.

That is going to be one entertaining night. I'll bring the popcorn and towels. -
I watched a movie called Alien 3000 hoping it would be as bad/good as Dracula 3000, but it wasn't. It was really bad, with only a few funny parts, such as the scene that was almost a shot by shot rip off of a scene in Independance Day, and the attempts at using special effects. The rest was just bad. Oh and there was nudity in the first five seconds, but never again. In conclusion, movies named Unseen Evil 2 that are renamed Alien 3000 just so that people like me who expect great thigns from movies called '_____ 3000' aren't always as funny as you might think.

Songs/albums That Should Be Made Into Movies

The Downward Spiral - NIN. Although in movie form I think it might just be too depressing and impossible to get across all the social commentary etc from the album. -

I just watched the first hour and I died. Slowly but surely they are getting rid of all the best actors, but the show still owns all face. Actually it's not slow since two of them went in the first half hour. Having gotten the taste after missing a season, I'm now quite looking forward to this one. -

I was just in the shower trying to figure out why I felt like I had something to watch on TV today. I figured it was just Kenny Vs Spenny, but then once I sat at my computer I realized it was 24 then I shot myself. -
I saw one outlining the 2008 presedential campaign for christopher walken. it was well layed out but lacking in substance.

I love this show. Last year I had a class when it was on and it damn near killed me not being able to watch it. I'm going to go rent or buy last season tomorrow so i can catch up. How did it compare to the previous seasons? -
Don't forget all the black kids with holes drilled in their heads to try and make them into zombies. They were in there too.

Yah I was the same. I kinda just faked having one who's name was also Eric. I was an only child and I think I was just bored, so I remember making the choice to create an imaginary friend. I could talk to him over a phone in my hand. I never really hung out with him or anything, but for a long time if people asked if I had one I'd say I did. I used him, and I regret that. I also used to go sit on a bench in front of a fence and pretend that by pressing buttons on the fence I could open up a communication channel with my recently dead grandpa, who would give me advice on how to get the girl I had a crush on. That was weird I guess.

I finally started Rules of Attraction yesterday. Already it's more confusing than I had thought, but in an interesting way. I'm going to try and finish it before christmas. -
It's okay as long as it's not the exact same style of logo on each one. I foten wear two Matt Good things just because I've got the WLRRR sweatshirt that doesn't scream Matt Good, and all the other ones that I would wear under it either say MG which people don't seem to get, or the Matthew Good isn't clearly visable. So in coclusion, as long as you don't look like the band version of Garth from that scene in Wayne's World, and as long as no one can clearly read the same words on more than one part of your outfit, then you should be okay.

What Was The Last Movie You Saw?
The_Rat_Who_Would_be_King replied to Shiri's topic in The Silver Screen
I saw Syriana last night. I have a feeling that's not spelled right but I'll be damned if I'm going to look it up. I enjoyed the film, and it really made me want to find details on how accurate the films depiction of corruption was.
