Thornley isn't all that bad. But that's only because the guy was from that other band when Canadian music was good. Less crappy. A band from my highschool did the whole battle of the bands, Supernova thing. I certainly didn't vote for them, and I'm on a first name basis with some of them, but I'll vote for insert god damn it! -
Shut up Mike!

I'm resurrecting this. For the sake of this. I can't imagine any objections. It is pretty impressive that google video has such massive videos, as well as lots of them.

I'm not sure what to think of the new Agoraphobe. For some reason the guitar at the beginning seems too prominant. I like both versions though, and will give them equal rotation. These other demos are rockin' too, enough that I want to listen to more LimbLifter.

Wait this thread isn't even about abortions. -
Interview The Person Below You

I am seriously afraid of time travelling assassins. Seriously. If there's a name for a phobia for that, I have it. Besides zero%, what is the lowest mark youve gotten in your academic career? -

Yah I know what you mean. Last week I killed all of my roommates and now I don't have a care in the world. Untrue. I didn't kill them, and because of that I am still stressed. Your advice is flawed. But still good! ;) How's quitting smoking going? -

Badass show. He could survive in my harsh environments anyday. -
I skipped watching Ran. I have to rent it this weekend. I think I'll check out Stalker too. Thank god for video stores run by ex-film students.

Methinks he faked it. Edit: He's a witch for sure.

Abortion: What Do You Think?

Yknow, you're right. Im the coolest. I'm going to go get in a fight with someone on the football team, beat him, and than marry his girlfriend by capture! -
I don't have any links but there were a few chapters of mph, or whatever they might be called, who hired a third party company to take care of the manufacturing of the wrist bands. The problem was this was that they very well could have hired a bunch of kids in a third world country to make them. It's that sort of irresponsibility that they are supposed to be fighting, so it was a general turn off. I think that's what happened.

And what better to tie something with than string. On a serious note, I feel so nerdy when a friend asks me to explain string theory to them, and I can. I'm no physics buff, yet I can do it anyway. I feel less of a man because of this. -
Hahahaha, yes. Well done.

I got the English in me so any kind of tea gives me the creams. Sadly though, if I don't drink it regularly it also gives me the poops. So I stay away, and hate myself because of it.

The Reccomend Dan Books Thread
The_Rat_Who_Would_be_King replied to Dan #2's topic in Rentals, Television, and Readables
I should make clear its not really over-explaining, its just a really effective stream of conscience that can make for a difficult read. Its that technique that was really new at the time the book was released, and some critics say the literary world is still trying to catch up to his style. But yah, maybe check out Bret Easton Ellis adaptations at the old movie store first, and that ought to give you an idea about whether or not you feel like diving into a book. Because like I said its not for everyone. I'd also like to point out that Aphrodite Jones is a pretty ill name. -
We didn't watch it, I guess we just discussed it. It wasn't given very much attention at all because I can't even remember in what context it was brought up, but it was nonetheless. For some reason I felt a sense of pride when you said I had a good film teacher, like it was some great accomplishment on my part. I'm going to hell, like Satan.
