I believe a piece of your soul is eaten away. I have no idea what AAC really is. It's some sort of music encoding developed by Apple that works exclusively in iTunes. I think it's that format that Apple was touting as being very hi-fi while not using up as much disk space as other hi-fi file formats. Also, it will work on iPods, unlike other hi-fi formats.
