I have been addicted to Resident Evil 5 Mercenaries mode. I"m actually decently ranked on a couple of the stages in solo...which surprises me. Of course all the top 10s are Japanese players. How DO they do it!

Matt made it a point to say this song is not officially the first single...I'm wondering what could be? None of the demos that I heard sounded very commercial friendly aside from maybe Silent Army and Fought to Fight it. I'd put my money on one of them.

Also now that I think about it, this song (or studio version I should say) kinda reminds me of a mixture of Born Losers + 99%

I also prefer the acoustic, but I have a feeling once this is mastered and perfected I'll like it just as well. It's too bad he didn't record any b-sides during the sessions (at least to my knowledge), though he could always do an acoustic recording at home if he really wanted.

He did warn people to not get "demo-itis" if possible.

Of the other demos I heard I think I'm hoping for Fought to Fight it to have been recorded.

I know I said I would resist listening to any previews.....but Silent Army is quickly becoming a favorite and I just couldn't resist. Pretty awesome, though I prefer the way he sang "outside" during some of his acoustic shows when he would drop the note a bit. Oh well.

One time we blasted Dreams by Van Halen in the car. It was awesome.

I don't consider less depth to be a bad thing unless we're talking about something completely shitty like Nickelback.
