Beautiful Midnight tour and possibly new album? Should be a great year for MG fans for sure. But outside of that, I hope everyone here has a great holiday season and a rewarding 2017.

Would love for Enjoy the Silence to return in a live setting....

Very interesting, always wondered why Priske was dismissed. A lot of interviews around Hospital Music that I remember seemed to indicate Matt wanted to just freshen up the lineup. Maybe he didn't want to slam anyone in the press but gave us a bit more on here.

No, you have to wait until the 2nd to download. Physical will be delivered to you on or around the 2nd.

Real easy process for who hasn't got to it yet. Got a confirmation email after my upgrade choice too. Awesome.

I think playing the new versions in the midst of BM in its entirety would disrupt the flow a bit. All of us on here probably could handle it either way, but I have been talking to friends who haven't talked BM in a long time and are most likely going to come out for this, and I can tell from them, they are expecting the '99 BM. These new reworks could benefit future tours obviously. I'm up for whatever though so it's all good.

Sounds great, thanks for the heads up.

Agreed, I probably wouldn't like it if he tried to just exactly copy the original. This different take is cool. Although still can't touch the original in my meaningless opinion Would be amazing. Hoping for the same

This is not true of course in every instance, and its only my opinion even for when I do think its true, but the push and pull thing seems to give some great output for me. Maybe not so much for the guys making it. My favorite period of the Rolling Stones was when they had Mick Taylor, which went sour. Even heavier bands like Megadeth, I still think there is something missing without guitarist Marty Friedman. And then of course sometimes I wonder if its just nostalgia and its all in my head. So yeah, would love to see Genn reunite with Matt to see if there's anything there still or to do another all out rock album. Then again, if Matt decided to do another all out rock album, would he be needed? I don't think that's been a focus of his. I'm just ramblin i guess

Cool, this was at Club Infinity in Buffalo right? You catch him outside?

Some really cool stuff I didn't know listed there, thanks for this

Thanks, will keep this in mind! -
This is morphing into MMA, but watched Conor McGregor talking about the next UFC he'll be a part of, 205 in November. The guy is entertaining in the octagon as well as in interviews, almost like a WWE wrestler. Pretty sure I'll go out of my way to see UFC 205 like i did 203 with CM Punk.

Cannot get a good seat and decent priced ticket for the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Had a presale password and no good seats within 5 mins of trying. Tried the next day on regular public sale day, same thing. They are all of course available on StubHub for 3x the price. I can get some nose bleeds but I really wanted to sit close and was willing to pay box office price. Certainly not the resale price. -
ROH was really good. Not sure if its regional but anyone that hasn't seen it and its in the area, check it out. Was just as good as WWE as far as my attention span anyway, and it was more than half the price. Couple guys I recognized too from WWE/TNA from back in the day which was nice, for the people who haven't really followed wrestling in recent times.
-
93 min match? Damn. I'll check that out. I am going to ROH in Buffalo Saturday, I will see if I can catch Colt for a quick word. Def seems like a cool guy from the podcast.
-
I'm sure you guys heard it but there was a podcast done a few years back with CM Punk that I just got told about Saturday night at the fight. It was with a guy I never heard of before I listened named Colt Cabana. Damn did Punk air out all his WWE grievances. Was a very entertaining listen. Kind of stopped watching regularly around 2006 when I was excited about the new ECW and I caught him there. And then I pretty much shut off WWE/ECW when it wasn't at all like the old ECW. So I missed all these stories and this pipe bomb stuff. Been youtubing a couple thing for frame of reference after the podcast. Really good.

Watched UFC 203 last night, anyone have any interest with the ex-WWE guy CM Punk involved? He was beaten badly but the bar by me was loaded with wrestling fans, was interesting to see all the hype (and probably buys) he added. I usually watch UFC but I will admit I made it a point to get out there and watch. 2 minutes later, i would say 25% of the bar cleared out when his match ended.

Haha, awesome. Thanks for putting it up.

One Of My Favourite (Non Musical) Matt Moment
Stwlegend replied to Outtahere's topic in Matthew Good
Damn was he pissed! Your right, what do you say back to someone that says "if you want to be a tough guy go join the armed forces". That would shut me down real quick lol -
Haha. I double checked everything and the free oil changes are literally just vouchers, no strings attached and I don't have any maintenance package. I should be okay. All these stories you guys tell are more common than not when it comes to the dealerships. Hope to stay out of there for other than the oil changes and then the turn in 3 years down the road.
-
You're freaking me out lol. What a crazy service setup that is! I wasn't told anything similar like that, but I know they will try to change the air filter and all that crap that is cheap for a high fee when I go in. Not gonna get tied up with that stuff thru them. Thinking tires might be the only thing I may get caught on but figured I could put a cheap pair on with enough tread to pass inspection when I turn it in. Learning as I go here. Spark plugs $60??? With the labor if he got that done at the dealer, your probably looking at over $200! This is one of the main reasons I wanted to lease, hoping no issues, just turn in when things like the brakes get close to getting worn out.
-
That's good to know at the end if I wanted to buy it. Service did look pricey. Its a 36 month lease and the oil changes are every 10k miles. So i only have to do 3 oil changes for the lease and they gave me 2 free vouchers. So I'm on the line for only 1 oil change but its priced at $84.99! Everything looked ridiculous price wise in there, but I'm used to going to the local corner guy by me so maybe that's why.
-
Thanks, and thanks for some of the pointers on the lease/buy. A couple guys at work said VW's are too "hipster" but I'm enjoying the ride nonetheless!
-
That means Antipop live too right? Can you imagine lol. I'm actually very interested in both being played if the singles tour happens, truly.
