Oh for sure. More so in person than on a recording. But one that comes to me immediately is that end solo on Fade to Black by Metallica, which always gets me. Totally forgot about Only In Dreams, that's a great call. I seen them do an instrumental version in the early 2000's, which was shorter, and man, I think because I never heard it that way, when it got to the buildup it was like hearing it for the first time and it totally got me all over again.

Went with a lease on the Tiguan! It was the "model year end clearance event". 2016 vehicles are old news apparently. They are making way, or at least telling me they are making way, for the 2017's. So the vehicle was a bit cheaper which was nice. Plus they didn't have the color i wanted (black), they only had like an orange, which i was super against, almost left, but then they got a grey through a dealer trade when they realized I was serious on leaving. The charcoal grey is real nice, prob would have done that without question if they had that on site, but it worked out better price wise this way. My first day with it today, has great pickup and looks sleak. 10 hours total in the dealership from the time I walked in, til the time i left. Crazy. But I'm happy.

Definitely will check that out. Actually decided to try that ROH show in Sept here in Buffalo with a few buddies who I used to watch with back in the day, and are hardcore fans of the independents and the WWE still today. I will bring this up to them and try to get some stand out matches. Btw, you still going to that 17th ROH show?

A lot of bands find it more difficult to play acoustic. You're naked when those mistakes aren't covered by electric. Although I don't recall any 'ouch' moments when Matt plays acoustic, at least from the acoustic shows I seen/heard. Maybe attributed to a lot of them being reworked and not just literally played acoustically.

Haha, didn't even think of that part. I don't think the next generation of kids do this backyard hardcore stuff anymore, especially at the level of organization I remember, whether it's because they are a little smarter than we were or its basically not allowed at a lot of venues.

Cool, thanks for sharing those. These acoustic shows it seems you get the bonus storytelling which is awesome.

Cool, was so new to just being out at concerts at that young age that it was hard to take all that in at the time. I had a throwaway camera, pretty sure the pics got thrown away with the camera, those weren't exactly made for distance lol. And the MGB shirts that I had back then and have no idea what happened to....smh. But thanks for sharing, can't believe how long ago that was.

Now that you mention it, I remember in high school going to a roller rink that was rented out by a bunch of kids a few years older than me. Everyone was going through light tubes, tables, tacks and chairs. And then the VHS of these events were available the following Monday at class, we used to go nuts for these tapes. Kind of insane looking back, especially all we know now with concussions. It was just another Friday night back then lol.

Appreciate the advice Matt. I'm going SUV and I stopped in today and it looks like buying will be double the amount of leasing for a VW Tiguan. So this coming weekend I'm going into the dealership with the intent to lease. We'll see where these salespeople lead me lol.

Thanks for the setlist tristan. Any chance on filling us in on a MGB story he told if you remember?

Talk about fate, would you have done this cover if your knee didn't pop? lol

Right, I feel like if I finance, by the time it's paid off at the amount that I can afford monthly, I'll be taking it to the shop for issues. Lease is now seeming like the better way to go if I'm set on new. Having a never ending payment is not what I want to look forward to, but i guess a lot of people do it.

Leaning towards lease after 5 dealerships this weekend, had it rough with these sales people and need to step away for a few days. Annoying but I understand they gotta make a living too.

Cool cover, i like your take. Really liked your Lana Del Ray covers too. Sorry about the knee but enjoy the time off from work at the very least!

Anyone here lease? My truck finally had its last ride. While I expected it would come soon, the thought of a payment again has got me miserable. Gotta have something more reliable this time out, and want to go new. I did my research on leasing vs buying, but would like to know if anyone has any strong opinions either way.

I'm sure you thought of this but can you take it to a guitar shop near you? I did that for a bass case I particularly liked and couldn't figure out who it was from. The guy actually helped me figure it out.

Very cool, thanks for posting. Sounds like the live mix was pretty good from the video too. At least from where you are.

After the baseball game Friday, one of our newer buffalo brewery's had an event the next day with the guys. Good short video article on it: http://wivb.com/2016/07/23/legends-of-the-aud-20th-anniversary-makes-for-memorable-night-at-riverworks/

Nice set, thanks for posting. Look forward to the videos if you can.

Anyone like Baroness? Going to see them in August. Playing a small club here. Just started digging these guys. -

Thanks, definitely going to try and make it. This Friday, the minor league baseball team here in Buffalo is having a "Legends of Wrestling" event. Eric Bischoff, the Nasty Boys, the Destroyer and Jimmy Hart. I think a few others too. Autograph session and I think cutting promos in between innings lol.
