I was looking into Bravely Default, so I'll probably get that. Mario Kart is definitely a must. My sister said Ace Attorney is really fun too. watched a review for Xenoblade Chronicles 3D just now, looks pretty good! I do like puzzles, although I will say, the really big grids in PokemonPicross I'm finding quite hard. one grid was like 15 X 20. that's too big lol.

I was thinking about getting that. My sister bought it yesterday on our game buying spree so I figured I would check out hers first before also buying it. One day in and she really likes it. So it's looking promising

So I just got the "new" Nintendo 3DS. Haven't had one since GameBoy Advance. Anyone else have one? Any game recommendations? So far I've got: Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, Super Mario Land 3D, Fire Emblem Awakening, Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon, Zelda Ocarina of Time 3D, Super Smash Bros for 3DS, Pokemon X, Pokemon Black, and Fantast Life. Some of the games I haven't tried yet cause I just got them yesterday. Any must haves that I'm missing? So far I'm pretty I pretty into Fantasy Life. I'm almost more than halfway done Pokemon X. Ocarina of Time is a bit harder than the rest imo but I never played the original which might contribute to that.

Ah frig. I forgot on Friday to get my mom her ticket to At the Drive-In at the Phoenix in Toronto. Of course it's sold out. They even added a second night. Which is also sold out. And stub hub prices are in freaking USD. And our dollar sucks. And a ticket to Friday's show will now cost me 134$. But that was what I wanted to get her for Mother's Day. One of her favourite bands. Anyone know if by some miracle they're maybe adding a Montreal show instead?? Or anyone got an extra ticket they want to sell me for like 70-80$ CDN.

Oh wow! It had said "sold out" and "presale" for the longest time. I wonder if HMV will price match it for me....it's 32.99$ in store...

HMV at the St Laurent Shopping Centre. They don't sell vinyl at the downtown Rideau location. Apparently they had some copies at Bayshore Shopping Centre and at Place D'Orleans but I was there so I don't know. At St Laurent last week they only had 1 LOTGA left, 2 Underdogs and 2 Raygun. I bought HM and BM I don't remember seeing another of those. You can call ahead and ask them to set one aside for you though.

I work at Bridgehead, an Ottawa based company that specializes in fair trade coffee. So I usually drink that. That's what I gifted to the band on this tour too. Once you drink the good stuff, it's hard to get coffee else where haha.

Same, and considering they all came in Top 10 on the Vinyl charts, they might go out of stock quicker than you anticipate. I picked up at least Hospital Music and Beautiful Midnight, I think I'm gonna go grab the other 3 today before they're gone.

Bit the bullet. Picked up HM and BM at HMV today. They're ordering me CN and get this, apparently they still have a couple copies of Arrows in the warehouse! Now I just have to convince someone to buy the other records for me for my birthday...which is in May lol

Load Me Up and Time Bomb are pretty good for that too (I guess BM was technically already mentioned). Also Indestructible. Alabama Motel Room. I'm a Window. The Boy Who Could Explode. Fought to Fight It has a decent steady tempo too. The cover of Enjoy the Silence. Pledge of Allegiance. 21st Century Living. Near Fantastica. Man of Action (if can wait through the intro build-up which is a bit slow). Carmelina. Anti-Pop. Definitely Raygun. and everything you mentioned really mackie: Really depends how heavy you like it, or how quick of a tempo you want. But you can definitely sustain an only MG playlist for cardio if you wanted to. Personally, I like it mix it up and it's a medley of things. But if you wanted to, there's definitely enough.

Would anyone in Ottawa want a Promotional poster from the Kingston show at Ale House? They gave me two, but I only need one. Mind you, all the un-used posters disappeared somewhere so they guy working literally took two off the wall inside the venue for me, so there is some wear and tear to the corners, staple holes etc. Anyway, if anyone would like my second Kingston show poster and is in Ottawa it's all yours!

They also sell frames for records. I think Urban Outfitters has them for 10$. Then you can mount them on the wall.

Also I just called HMV and they said they can still order me a Chaotic Neutral vinyl. But how can that be when you can't further order one from Matt's store? #confused

Guns of Carolina was by far my favourite track. I probably played it a thousand times. Garden of Knives was super badass. And Via Dolorosa also on repeat. Hey Hell Heaven took some time to grow on me. But other than that the record was a knockout the second it all came out. I ran up the data bill on my phone so bad when the pre-release streaming was on SoundCloud.

I agree sooooo much with everything you've said. I definitely appreciate each stage or phase of Matt's career, and recognize that they're different. And appreciate their differences. And there are definitely phases I gravitate more to than others. Also heavily agree that Arrows was under-received. I *loved* Arrows.

I think they mentioned it's getting pressed at a new plant because they had mountains of problems with the original.

For the Arrows of Desire tour. I got to see them in Montreal, but my stupid greyhound to Kingston got lost (I kid you not) at least 4 times (might've been 5) so I missed them play. They weren't bad though, pretty enjoyable. Did not pursue listening to them after though tbh.

Oh yeah! I forgot about Dala. I liked them too. Bought their cd.
