I just have a Fender, I think it's like "T-Bucket 100CE" or something. Acoustic-Electric. Bought it so I could have a consistent experience when I started playing open mics (the constant different house guitar quality stressed me out when I was nervous) I'm constantly lusting after Taylor guitars though. So nice. To look at. To play. To hear. Always my favourite to pick up. Also I got to play someone's Gibson Songwriter they had customized, and *that* was amazing.

I got really excited when I saw that tweet. I love Ahead by a Century. I'm sooo down with a Matt cover. Or a collab of that.

From Stu actually. On the Kingston tour stop. Got to chill with him, Bones, Blake and the crew that night after the show.
-
I actually really like Stu also. He's super personable. He's really fluid when he plays too, the Stu Sway if you will. He looks super into it to me. Also if you talk to him Stu is really, really nice. Oh and also Stu's stage outfit was the same at every show which I thought was pretty funny. But I mean there's not a ton of room on that bus, so pack light I guess haha. Oh and also, in terms of crowd interaction, Stu gives a lot. He'll let encourage you to get up, smile, wave etc. He throws a ton of picks into the crowd too. which is fun. But I get what you mean, Jimmy was really expressive looking, like he was having the best time. Funny enough, Stu said he actually recommended Jimmy for the job, when he wouldn't be able to tour due to the work with the Heartbroken (I think that was the sched conflict). So he was kind of torn coming back this time, since it would be taking it back from Jimmy. But they're on good terms and everything. I'm glad Stu was back.

Awesome. And yes. Jimmy is indeed, really cool. :D

JR is coneyhatchback on instagram. Could always ask him. I suck at guitar, so I have no idea.

I'm still kicking myself for not making it to the panel he was on during Ottawa's International Writer's Fest... I think it was 2005? Maybe before. So I really wish I could make it down to Calgary... :/
-
But Matt did a lot of PR kind of stuff this year for the tour. I don't consider Matt to need like a come back, because for me, as for most of you, he never wasn't big for us. But I'm guessing to have a kind of career resurgence/breath of new life, some PR stuff is necessary. I really wish I could make it, but Calgary is definitely too far.

The new background picture when you open the app and it's loading is really good

Rudy, Marcie, Gwen, Papi, Knox, Mitzi, Carmen, Carlos and Flo so far. Antonio is currently building his house (right in front of the freaking bridge why oh why lol). Not gonna lie. I ended up picking up Happy Home Designer too. They had a used copy for 24$. Bought some amigo cards to go with it. I agree, the game is oddly therapeutic.

Bulletproof Coffee. Some do butter, but you can veganize it with coconut oil instead. Something about the fat content makes you process the caffeine differently? I think it hits you quicker/more effectively supposedly with less of a crash. I've actually been thinking about trying that recently.

Currently vibing with Born to Kill.

Yup. Every time.

When I put my cd of Beautiful Midnight to upload into iTunes on my desktop it always registers I Miss New Wave as "Deep 6ix" Not sure if iTunes thinks it the American one? Cause it's on that version of BM right? Funny little glitch. Also how Matt always puts on his glasses for the end of Weapon live. I think it's homage to the video for it. But who knows. But he always does it every time. Chills.

Last day to vote y'all! (Well, in EST at least. If you're PST, then you still have 2 days if you didn't vote yet for the 15th, and happen to see this in the next 2 and a half hours!) Either way, crunch time for votes!

I got Animal Crossing: New Leaf. I didn't think I was going to be that into it, but I gotta say I'm really enjoying it so far. After 2 days my approval rating is at 98%...just gotta get that last 2... Let me build stuff citizens!

Cold brew is super easy. Takes out any possible bitterness you might get, for a really smooth coffee. I put 3/4 cup of ground dark roast coffee in a 1L mason jar, fill it with water and put it in the fridge. Leave it over night, the next morning (or later that day if you want, or even the day after) you just strain it through a filter into another jar. Stays good in the fridge for about 2 weeks, but I've never had any more than a couple days cause it's just that good

Yeah! Oh man! I reeeeeaaallly am liking Fire Emblem Awakening. From what I've read, I'd probably want to play Birthright, which is easier for new comers, although apparently there will be a special edition that has Birthright, Conquest and Revelations (i think?) all loaded. So then you could just play it over and make the different choice in order to play the different games. Also, I keep dying in Super Mario Land 3D because I'm not used to being able to move everywhere. I'm used to like Super Nintendo and GameBoy Advance lol. I keep accidentally jumping off stuff

They also allow you to vote on different devices, since there's no login I voted from my phone and my laptop ;)

http://themusicexpress.ca/2016-music-express-awards-voting/ In case you didn't see, Matt is nominated for 4 categories in the Music Express Awards. Leading by far in Top Live Act/Small Venue, and very close for Top Male Vocalist. (Also nominated in categories for Top Rock/Pop Album and "Back on the Scene" award) Vote away, friends. Vote away! **title dyslexia, mixed up the order of the words.... :/

I'm all about the Americanos right now. I often have a two shot before spin, and after spin. Also, I love making Cold Brew coffee with "Full Steam" (the French roast) from Bridgehead. It makes the coffee taste so smooth. Sometimes I put it in my morning smoothie. Gives a nice morning kick.

Ultraviolence is a great album. You should check that one out.
