  1. Mainly he re-itterated the differences between him and Duceppe on Quebec separating.
  2. http://www.cbc.ca/story/canadavotes2006/na...rtin051217.html I was at the rally this morning and this is pretty accurate, he did mention Gilles Duceppe as well, which the article does not mention.
  3. There was talk about one of the ones being somewhere in B.C. when Palau was first premeired but so far Mark Burnett has not done it.
  4. What's happening is he's giving them five years free rent and if they cannot find employment in the area he will offer them a job at an organic farm he is planning on opening. Remember the residents are not happy about jobless people coming the their area. He is also helping the residents have more infrastructure and police officers in their town to support the increased population.
  5. I have no clue, I guess we'll have to wait and see.
  6. I wonder how the next Survivor is going to play out, definitely it sounds interesting though.
  7. So, just because he's rich he's not allowed to do a nice gesture? These people lost everything, so he's just giving a little something back.

  9. Well she made the right choice though, Rafe most likely was not going to take her to the final two, and people did not like Stephenie all that much on that jury so it was the right decision I think.
  10. But 18 year olds are still on the way to becoming adult and discovering what the world's really like. 16 year olds are still pretty protected. Also how could someone really prove a teacher's biasedly teaching students stuff? The kids might just say it's "their views".
  11. I think Danni winning is quite alright.
  12. I've seen lots of kids do that, truthfully it makes no sense to have 16 years old vote anyways, 18 is the age kids start to become adults so it's the age that makes sense.
  13. We had to make cut backs and reform the system as more money comes into the economy we can invest more into other programs otherwise we're spending what we don't have which leaves less for the future. Also the debt needs to be paid off, or else that just gets worse, so actually the Liberals have managed our economy well. And the way the system works is as people have more money they spend more so more new and better jobs are needed creating more jobs too that can be even better.

  15. It's all preachy, Matthew Good is annoying he knows about as much as anyone else and he tries to pass it off as knowing more.
  16. those people are morons. See that's just ridiculous, life experience plays a major part in how people will vote. Calling people morons is really just un-acceptable. People need to learn from being out in the world how it's really like and voting for a party that will represent that and try to build upon that over many years to improving it.
  17. The NDP doesn't get along with the Liberals well enough, they bullied the Liberals around until they said no, and surprise surprise the NDP ended the government. However, the Liberals have provided a stable Canada when a lot of other countries are not so stable. They have been working on having more people having actual jobs. Voting for the Conservatives might not give Canadians the same results. The NDP is reckless, they are not all that innovative and their long term plans have no real money figures to them. The economy doing is essentially to having quality social programs or else there is not the money to pay for them either.
  18. Being smart isn't really enough, it's life experience, and while I believe students in College and Universities are still pretty protected from the real world, at least they are on their way to beginning their journey. High School kids are really protected though, and teachers these days (at least around here when I went to High School) would like to state their political views constantly and I did see people actually get influenced by that.
  19. Actually I agree with it being whiny because he whines a lot, on his blog, in his interview, and in his music.
  20. Well interesting show last night, and it's good that Steph lost. Danni winning is cool, I think it was smart of her not to take Rafe to the final two because it was the million dollar decision, and Rafe probably wouldn't have taken her anyways. I'm upset that Stephenie made it as far as she did though, she was not all that good of a player, she only won one individual challenge either, she basically just piggy-backed on a lot of people and then backstabbed them later. She's probably more of a villian than Jamie and Judd were this year. Anyways Survivor: Panama - Exile Island sounds like it might be good, but apparently there's going to be 16 castaways this time, which I think will be better because 18 to me seems just a couple too many.
  21. Actually some people come from a Liberal family, and when I was younger I supported the P.C.s and did for a few months until Belinda lost the leadership convention. I actually switched because the Liberals were close enough anyways to the P.C.s and my party was gone at that point. So, family doesn't always shape you.
  22. Matthew Good of course.
  23. It's not education that gives people the smarts to vote, it's life experience, and while even at 18 they still don't have much of that, it's the first step towards it.
  24. "I/O" is by far Ryan Dahle's strongest work, it's where it came together for him.
  25. He's not that good anymore, which leads me to believe it was the band that helped him out so much and without them he's now lost.
