it must be settled, has Rabbits been played live? not that i know of, Shortcut to Moncton said he say it live, can anyone confirm this? I don't think it has been played because Matt remarked that it was too hard to sing, plus there is the orchestra and tympani and choir and such, which can't all the done on a click track (i don't think).

i agree wholeheartedly with this statement, WLRRR is condemned far too often, it is a great record.

if i were you i would walk around singing "my name is jonas" by weezer, fucking rights I would because A. that song is wicked and B. jonas is a cool name, not really on topic but whatever, the tele that guy is playing in that pic is sweet btw -
was just thinking that, he could rock out the end so good...

I can't believe how much blue skies rage there is, I love that song, but i guess it is cool that someone can hate a song while someone else loves it, and vice versa...
-
that would be cool, i would say...hmmmm. I'm fresh out of ideas, maybe a more rocking version of life beyond the minimum safe distance?
-
as far as I know there isn't a better one available, it was played few times live, and only recorded the once, i haven't seen any good versions on the hub, so i guess not...

at the stars - better than ezra -
I was going to put him on there and forgot to last minute, then i made the poll and realized my mistake but you can't edit a poll and I was fucked, I almost put the kinks on there too, the verve was considered, but again there are so many popular bands i went with the ones i though were considered to be the "big" ones. I put Oasis on there simply because they are so big in the UK, and i do realize there are lots of good artists i forgot to mention, thus the other option. But yes, in terms of impact and his influence on others, Bowie should have been on there, even though i personally don't care for his music, he is no doubt very influential. and Crusader, I do, the Police were one of the tightest bands ever, Sting is an amazing singer.

to add also, Matt has said he and Ryan have been friends for years and used to live within a block of each other years ago, Matt was also good friends with Tood Kerns, who played and sang with Ryan in Age of Eletric (gotta love the tight knit canadian music scene). Matt said somethign about him and Ryan (and possibly Kurt Dahle as well) forming a side project band called Supergroup as well a couple years back while MGB was still paying together. It was also ryan's recommendation for Pat to play with matt, as Patt had agreed to make the last limblifter record (I/O) before agreeing to do avalanche (that's what pat said on his blog awhile back anyways, after he was done avalanche, Pat played drums for I/O.

Why Is No One Talking About What Just Happened?
driftinginfluence replied to i'm indestructable's topic in Matthew Good
i will say, not in defence of Matt, but as an observer, while Matt's words did seem harsh, he did say things on the same line Scot was saying about him, and Scot got mad for Matt stating his opinion of Scot's music when Scot had just done the same thing. No offense to Scot, but that was fair. It's funny how things turned around once Matt came aboard.
