  4. anyone can like anything, that's why music rocks so much!
  5. i agree, i hate music snobs, and people who hate a band when they become popular, if it's good it's good
  6. his voice has little range? are you kidding? he's very talented guitar player, if you don't like him, that's cool, but as a singer, i have huge respect for him, he has a huge range and blends very well.
  7. If that ain't panic that your feeling, well you damn well better start, you can drive into that head of yours with that hammer in your heart - SWW live outro
  8. not at all, considering they've been around 200 years and every single song i've ever heard by them sucks no, its fine to not like them but you can't really judge an album until you listen to it, that's all i am saying. I used to hate them, cause it was easy to, becuase they are so big and have been around for so long and because everyoen said they were so good, but then i listened to War and The Unforgettabele Fire, and now I"m a huge fan, they also put on one of the best live shows in the world.
  9. well i guess its unfair to judge one then? the joshua tree is damn good, really good,
  10. there are plenty of good female vocalists; Bjork, Lisa Hannigan, Tori Amos, the girl from Cat Power, the girl from Lamb, Christine Fellows, Fiona Apple, but i will agree there are a lot more talented male artists and vocalists, but this is most likley from social factors more than anything, anything concerning women usually is, they were too busy fighting oppression in the last hundered years or so to actually spend time creating music (htough some like Nina Simone for example did both), hopefully this will continue to change, as it has been in recent years.
  11. HMV is such a ripoff, i hate HMV, i used to get cd;s there all the time now i go through amazon
  12. hey be nice seriously scot, there's no harmful intent, we both suck its cool
  13. if you think its garbage, congratulations, i could care less. noise pullotion, your are right, we both do suck, but scot sucks more.
  14. wow your a real rock star! saturnine, good call. Scot, then don't prove it to the likes of me and everyone else by metnioning your shitty band every 5 seconds, if you have to promote it so much, then you must be making up for something, let the music speak for itself.
  15. would you be referring to me? you tell me. ;) hah, yeak ok, if i liked crap rock, no offense dude, but you promote your "band" all the time but don't have any good songs, as far as i can tell from what was on your website, I guess it might be fun designing cover art and talking like your a rock star, but you got miles to go buddy, write a record, a good record, thats a good start.
  16. joshua tree is better than achtung in my opinion, it has other great tracks than the big three (and they are fucking big) Red HIll Mining Town is wicked as is Bullet the Blue Sky, Mothers of the Disappeared and Exit. So Joshua Tree is better, but lately I"m a big fan of The Unforgettable Fire and War.
  17. matt did away with it and alltogether as far i can remember him saying
  18. it s a wicked record, dallas green is a phenomenal singer, and a great songwriter
  19. The February's - Plight of the Artist
  20. Glenn Kotche (Wilco) Phil Selway (Radiohead) Abe Carpenter (Deftones)
