Just saw it. I think it's pretty well done. The b&w wasn't at all a problem, I too thought it was appropriate given when it was set. I'm not a big fan of George Clooney (although it seems most everyone else is these days) but he did a good job with this one.

99.9% of the time, it feels that way because it does.

I've only seen Requiem, maybe that's why I was only slightly amused.
