Spot on, I really enjoyed it. My roomate and I were far too hungover on new years day to do anything else, so we watched half of V for Vendetta, Love Actually and Love Me If You Dare (Jeux d'enfants) and I think I'd place the last one above 500 Days, but it's a different kind of movie. And Marion Cotillard is... damn. Also watched American Beauty last night, another movie I'm glad I saw again.

It's not that I don't like it, I'm just not a fan of how it's in between Advertising and Truffle Pigs. Yes, maybe it's necessary but I think it's too stripped down in comparison to the songs before and after it. The lack of punch musically just doesn't sit well with me. I think it was placed in the wrong spot in the album, makes it kinda forgettable for me. Still a good song lyrically.

No, but ask me again in about 3-4 years time and I might reconsider. Damn MBA programs, still undecided... Have you ever had an amicable breakup/remained good friends afterward?

They're making this into a movie with Natalie Portman. I shit you not. Staying on topic, I'm reading American Psycho and I don't know what to make of it. I read it in spurts and then have to stop, but I keep coming back for more. I've already seen the movie so I'm kinda glad I know what I'm working towards, but I still wonder if I would finish it if I had not seen the movie. Next in the pile - either the Shock Doctrine (yes, I know. It's old news now.) or The Odyssey, although I feel like I should read The Illiad first now...

Still one of my favourite music videos to watch. AoB is a great album - BM was the rise, AoB was the crash and Avalanche was like a rebirth. All of it farkin' awesome, and I'm pretty sure AoB gets the most plays for me of the three.

The usual assortment of clothes (shirts, a pair or two of jeans, socks) plus some Threadless tees ;) new coat, Superstore and Empire Theaters gift cards, some cash and candy, and two wallets. Two. To quote from above, WTH?? P.S. Nice snag on the snuggie..? You're the first person I've heard of that got one as a gift, I was expecting to hear more people getting them.

This is the first year I haven't watched any of it. I usually catch some of it during the holidays but I don't think I've sat through an entire run of it in years. I feel as though seeing the ads for it on CBC have fulfilled my quota for the year.

http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ - free online virus scan, I've heard it's one of the better free ones that actually catch the damn things. I've used it before but I'm generally virus free so I can't personally speak to it's thoroughness.

I just think the whole thing is weird, but only because I watched 8 Mile for the first time on Saturday night. Otherwise I wouldn't have really thought about it twice.

Anyone see the pic they have of Matt on The Hour's website? Probably the most unflattering one I've ever seen of him...
