  1. I gotta give this a try... with order taken into consideration along with acoustic/band option: Bright End of Nowhere (A) Empty Road (A) Carmelina (B) Tripoli (B) Advertising on Police Cars (B) The Rat Who Would Be King (either.. damn) I Miss New Wave (B) Suburbia (B) A Boy and His Machine Gun (B) She's Got A New Disguise (B) Generation X-Wing (B), plus extended jam? Haven't Slept In Years (B) Prime Time Deliverance Look Happy, It's The End of the World Ex-Pats/Hopeless Change of Season Near Fantastica (can't decide if acoustic or band) House of Smoke and Mirrors (A) A Single Explosion (B) She's In It for The Money (B) The Vancouver National Anthem (B)* Empty's Theme Park (B)* Fated (A) *Haven't heard them live yet, but if the comments are any indication I do want to hear them. Missing the cut: It's Been Awhile Since I Was Your Man, Flashdance II, The Fine Art of Falling Apart... ah dammit. This isn't easy. If this was after this tour I would probably take the Vancouver tracks out and replace them with Fine Art and Flashdance II.
  2. From Matt's twitter - "Me wearing Stu's hat during shows has become the band's lucky mojo piece." Hmm... interesting.
  3. An End Has A Start - The Editors
  4. On the same note as Jason, this is the setlist from Antigonish in 2004, the first time I saw him: 21st Century Living Weapon Alert Status Red North American For Life Little Terror The Rat Who Would Be King Hello Time Bomb The Future Is X-Rated -Flip A Coin- (He played Put Out Your Lights, Poor Man's Grey, and In Love With A Bad Idea) Blue Skies Over Bad Lands ----------------------------- Apparitions (solo acoustic) Load Me Up, which morphed into: Carmelina I am extremely pissed off at my grade 10 self for not remembering more of this show. Freaking The Rat Who Would Be King? Carmelina? Plus a ton of WLRARR? GAH.
  5. *facepalm* It's all just opinions people, everyone's entitled. And yeah, that was a little asinine of you Stephen. My two cents.
  6. Read into it what you will, I usually just picture the same story in my head replayed over and over but with a different change in the setting. Hawaii, LA, Coquitlam, it's all the same ending. What was, what could be, and what will be. And yes, it would have been epic to see this live. Damn I need to see Matt more.
  7. Good idea, and as I mentioned before - the things I would do for a tour like this. Or even playing an entire album as a show, just from the old days. Imagine AoB in one sitting, live with a full band from beginning to end. Oh, some terrible, terrible things... Yep, for sure. I know a few big fans but they aren't here, but that's not to say they wouldn't shell that money out.
  8. I was just thinking about this before I logged on... As long as I'm still making money, $100 is in my price range for a show like that. No singles/tour staples, just everything else. Oh what I would do for a tour like that...
  9. It's The End Of The World As We Know It - R.E.M.

  14. /\ Ditto that. If I didn't have work today I might have stayed up for it. Anyone actually catch it?
  15. *grumbles* stupid lounge, stupid post count, stupid stupid stupid... I kid, I kid. I'll get there yet.
  16. Not with that kind of attitude! ;)
  17. /\ Thanks for that, looking forward to it tomorrow.
  18. Don't really have one, nor have I ever. I was asked to write about my hero in grade 4 it was all BS. I've just never been 'inspired' by a single person, but I do respect those who hold that position in others eyes. They're doing something right, eh?
  19. Before You Leave - Thrush Hermit
  20. Thank you sir, that is flippin' sweet quality for a bootleg. I'm not much of an audiophile but I will be 1) waiting to listen to the new stuff live until I'm there in person and 2) when I do it will be in FLAC. Thanks a ton, love the banter.
  21. 1) Generation X-Wing 2) Man of Action 3) The Vancouver National Anthem 4) The Future Is X Rated 5) Running For Home 6) Radio Bomb 7) Giant 8) 99% Of Us Is Failure 9) Haven't Slept In Years (Raygun)
