I Can't Win - The Strokes

I had no expectations of grandeur going into the movie (read: http://www.the-editing-room.com/avatar.html), and I got what I expected story-wise. But the visuals were damn nice. I'm tempted to watch it again in non-3D when it comes out of theaters just to see if I still like it at all.

I've got the 2009 release of their stuff - includes the self titled, b-sides and some 'lost demos' - but I've only listened to their self titled and The Second Coming. The rest of the stuff isn't labeled properly and I don't want to listen to it yet, being a last.fm junkie and mislabeled shit annoys the hell out of me. I'm too tired/lazy to do it right now, probably tomorrow on my day off I'll fix it up. And I'll start looking for that dvd just for shits too, thanks!

I have no problem with $25 a year, although I had originally misinterpreted it as $25 a month, don't ask why. To support an artist that I like as much as Matt and receive exclusive content to boot? I'm all for it, especially if it means that I get to go to a soundcheck once every year and a half or so when he makes it out to the East Coast, makes the shows worth that much more. I hope he does go for it.
