Happy tour day everybody. I thought I would start a topic for show reviews/setlist/merch pics. Cheers to the start of what looks to be an epic tour!

I am curious what merch will be sold. The jersey looked sweet and I am sure there are some other goodies available as well.

another possibility is to do the US Beautiful Midnight songs such as Apparations, Deep Six, and Automatic. Could be fun although I don't see Deep Six being played.

I was actually thinking about this today Sean. I'm curious about some of the songs the band will play for an encore and thought that doing some of the Loser Anthem tracks would be perfect. The songs were outtakes from Beautiful Midnight anyways if I am not mistaken.

It would be like going to a golf event and shouting "use the 7 iron" or at a tennis match and shouting "show em the backhand" it just makes the person doing it look like a tool. I remember over a yr ago bringing up Matt touring a complete album as multiple bands (weezer, our lady peace, glassjaw, a few others) had been doing this and having huge success. It is great that Matt is doing it and has sold a ton of tickets as well. Looks as if Sloan, Tea Party, U2, and Pearl Jam have played complete albums recently and are also having great success in doing so. A lot of today's music lovers are sick of the shit they hear on pop radio and want to go back to the good times. The good times for many are the 90's or early 2000's when they were in school. It's not just music though look at video games with the classic nes and genesis making huge comebacks. Look at TV and movies with all the reboots. People want to go retro. Nobody wants to hear the same pop shit on radio cycle every 40 mins. Nobody wants to turn on their TV and see the same reality (newsflash it isn't real) TV shows every night. I am willing to bet that Matt could have the same success with touring underdogs or even Audio Of Being from start to finish because it's going to bring out both the casual and diehard fans. Most bands/artist make their money off of touring not selling cd's and I truly hope every show sells out for Matt because the guy truly deserves it.

This was posted in another thread but I agree the jersey looks great. I would honestly by 2 of them if Matt offered them as like a home and away style with one white/black and the other the one pictured. Very cool idea by Matt to put this out.

Yeah I mean I tried over and over cleaning the disc and trying again but it just doesn't get higher than 55% The other games all installed perfectly. I have been playing WWE17 and FIFA17 whenever I have a free minute. Both games are great.

NBA 2K won't install. It always stops at 55% and says the disc is dirty. I tried the cloth thing and still nothing. Going to run by gamestop and see if they can switch it out. I miss the days of n64 cartridges. Discs can break or defect way too easily.

The interview Bill did with Gord is easily one of the most uncomfortable interviews I have ever seen in my life. Matt would punk the guy out in less than 2 mins if he tried that crap with him.

I ended up going to Gamestop and picking up Rivals, NHL16, NBA 16, and Shadows Of Mordor for $40 total And Walmart price matched Amazon and picked up WWE17 for $35 Pretty stoked. Won't need to buy any games for awhile now.

I ended up going with the xbox one. Was $200 for that with the FIFA17, and 2 Metal Gear Solid games plus Kinnect.

I like the song too. I think the big issue is that it gets lost in the shuffle with such great songs as "Cold Water" "Tiger by the tail" and "Harridan"

What does the PS4 pro have? Is it backwards compatible?

I looked at some reviews on this particular model. It seems like they randomly power off. I'm not sure if I want to take a $200 risk on it.

Anyone own a PS4 and can help me out? I have a guy looking to sell the Unchartered 4 PS4 unopened for $200. Not sure if this is a good deal or if people prefer the PS4 to an Xbox one.

Hello bored, While I had a free moment I wanted to take the time to wish everyone and their families a safe and Merry Christmas. I feel lucky to have gotten to know a few of you over the years and I am glad to be a part of such a great Matthew Good community. I hope you all get the Pony's, Unicorn's, and gifts that you asked for. I also hope you are lucky enough to see MG in 2017 because I have a feeling it will be a great year.

My daughter loves Sonic and Mario games so we play them regularly (modded xbox). She also is a huge fan of Epic Mickey 2. Myself I have been playing Sleeping Dogs and WWF Wrestlefest when I get a spare moment.

I am friends with some of these guys and they are by far one of the most underrated bands around. They are based out of Oregon and have an incubus experimental vibe to them. Tons of their music is on youtube and if you haven't I would definitely recommend checking them out. Each album sounds different and you can hear the band evolve. Mercury, midnight in shanghai, empire, and via rail are cool songs to start with.
