Just hearing of the news this morning. I think Matt performing while ill really shows his character. He could have cancelled or even phoned it in. He didn't and will always have my respect for being a true showman. He put his fans over his health and unfortunately his body couldn't hold up last night. Events like this make me realize not to take anything for granted and to appreciate everything that not only Matt, but all artists do for us their fans. Get well soon MG we will be here when you come back!

Thank you Steve! You tube has a cool MG video from Edmonton feb 2017 that was uploaded today. About 6 or 7 songs on there so far. Great quality too!!

after looking at the merch on the mg official site I got to thinking. The shirts don't really encompass anything about the new album or really the Matthew we know and love. I do love the OK shirt and what it stands for however the other t's not so much. I do however have some ideas for the fall tour and would love opinions. A shirt with pics of Matt throughout the years on the front with the word "decades" on the back and the number 18. I think this could be a hot seller. Another a shirt with pics of men standing at a door. Men at the Door. Simple yes but it also has to do with a song from the current album. Another idea a comic style shirt with pics of a redheaded girl, fireworks, and said girl screaming. The back of the shirt would say "this is night" Another idea a shirt with pics of numerous villians on the front. They would be small with a bigger pic of Matt in the center. The shirt would say "bad guys win" These are ideas I cooked up in 2-3 minutes but think they would make for great merch and make MG some cash. Thoughts?

I never realized it until Anton's post but how cool would an episode of Family Feud be with MGB vs OLP!! Pure nostalgia at it's best. OLP would be Mike Turner era as it is probably the only way they would win.

A great deal of OLP and Matt's sets were recorded on video on youtube by MattL. Not too bad of quality. Hoping to see bad guys win added later but it seems he got the majority of both bands. Worth checking out if you have the time. This is from 3/16 Rebel in Toronto.

you are exactly right. There are 2 audience recordings. The sound is amazing on both I believe. I get the Massey shows confused sometimes however, I have never heard a bad bootleg of a Massey Hall show no matter the band or the taper. Great acoustics

Raine has embraced the US agricultural system since living here and wants all of Canada to know about his good grains. And did you hear about the Radio Shack? ahhh they are turning...shit...into....solid gold PS: You would be doing summersaults too if you had some good grains

I have looked for this and for a live Bad Guys Win but have had no luck so far.

I saw theory open for OLP in 2005 or 2006 at a small college in PA. It was right when their 2nd album came out. They put on a hell of a live show. I was impressed and bought their cd's from them after the show. Really cool guys. I haven't heard any of the new stuff but the first 3 albums are great.

Not a fan of how Raine yells "Got me some good grades" At the Ottawa show it sounded like he said "Got me some good grains" #farmerraine #thefarmerandchantal

ahh cool they just updated setlist.fm. Shocked they didn't play that many new songs though.

only 3-4 songs have been reported from olp's set but I am sure they had to have played more than that. OLP has a video of starseed on youtube but have yet to find any from Matt's set yet.

how much is it? If you can find a taper/someone willing to tape both band sets I would gladly contribute to the cost.

he's done this on every single show since their 2009/2010 tour maybe earlier. I have seen them live 4 times, the first 2 were great and the last 2 were basically crowd sing alongs. Sorry if I wanted to sing I'd do karaoke. Youtube liveshows from them and you can see what I mean. He also randomly gets pissed at one person every show for not being loud or clapping. I think it's staged because he literally does it every show. The band used to stop mid song for him to rant. It's a shame and makes me wonder if his voice is totally shot now.

I actually met Jared Leto when 30 secs opened for OLP in Buffalo at the Flickenger Center during the gravity tour. We chatted for about 20 mins. He was kind of prickish until I was able to prove that I owned his bands cd. He signed his autograph as the symbol that the band members use instead of writing his name. This was back when Jared actually sang during their live show instead of having the crowd sing 90 % of every song.

I have the special edition with the "a pleasurable headache" lyric booklet. I may be wrong but I think when you take the cd out it has the lyric in the case. I haven't looked at it in years though. You are right though there is a lyric included.
