i've posted this thing a few other places before, so i might as well post it here. i'm looking to sell my mezco mr. blonde/marvin nash action figure set. it's the infamous torture scene set. i paid $40 bucks for it a long time ago and i'll part with it for $30 (canadian prices). honestly, it's just tucked away in a drawer, as it's too twisted a scene to display. i thought it was cool when i bought it, but...yeah. anyway, i'll post a pic if anyone's interested. it's been opened by a previous owner or store employee, but all the pieces are there in the original box (marvin nash's ear comes off, a la movie). i've never opened it. i'd prefer local pick up, but if someone wants it from away and we can figure out a way to protect both our interests, i would consider shipping (at buyers expense). i will, however, only ship within canada, to avoid border fuck ups.

i guess my ears aren't tuned to that. i definitely noticed a change in the guitar sound from morning view to a crow (humbuckers to p90s and maybe different amps?). -

the beginning of that jesus christ song reminds me of hum. i keep sorta expect the singer from hum to break in with "i'm thinking of a number between everything and two". -
this is a long one, but i love it. it's a speech stevie ray vaughan gave during 'life without you' live at some point (i don't know the date): "i'm gonna stop right now and thank god that i'm alive and well enough to be with ya'll today. and that all is as well as it is with everybody here. i am glad to be with you here today. you see, it does me good to stop and think about this stuff, because...sometimes it's to easy to forget, for a lot of us, yunno, what we been through, where we're comin' from, where we're tryin' to get. where we're tryin' to get is back home, inside, yunno. and back in touch with what really means something, which is love and caring and what we got between us. see, it took me a long time to find out that pretty much everything else is a bunch of... something else, yunno. cuz for a long time, all i could remember to do was run away from myself and everybody that cared, yunno. and usually that meant run to the party. and stay there for as long as possible. and then one day i nearly died and it dawned on me that that was not the right thing to do, yunno. cuz yunno it is time to come home every once in a while. what this is all about is just i'm just asking ya'll to take care of yourselves so you can be there for the ones who need you and love you the most. and they need you all the time. i know i do. are ya'll with me? alright."

ask at a radio shack (or whatever they call themselves now) and then look at the confused look on the sales clerk's face when you ask anything but "where are the batteries?" or "can you show me something in a remote control car?".

what's wrong with the production? i'm not ripping on you or defending it...i just seriously don't understand. -
he had an entry called moon over marin just a little while back. i love that song. hard to imagine how matthew good covering a dead kennedys song would sound. i could see it being something along the lines of carmelina, i guess. oh the anticipation.

stevie ray vaughan live at montreax 1982 & 1985 dvd. how anyone could boo such a beautiful person is beyond me. -
for you, perhaps. i smoke and i like old shit so it seems to work out ok for me. anyway, i see nothing dull about having an ashtray that looks like a pink toilet. and as a bonus...you'll always have plenty of blunt objects around to throw and smash with if need/want be.

i'm kinda stoked to see it. hopefully i can convince some friends to go. has anyone seen craig's movie, layer cake? i mentioned it in the 'last movie you saw' thread. he plays a drug dealer on the rise in england.
