holy snap yesterday

i started listening to it. didn't get through a song. the music was okay, but i couldn't get into the vocals.

i love explosions. dirty three are worth checking out. someone here turned me onto them. three piece band from australia: violin, guitar and drums. there newer stuff is pretty chilled out. there older stuff is a little more excited. i like both phases.

i was super interested in this link, but i couldn't get to the end with all the 'no no it's this or that' going on. did you guys arrive at what everything in his rig definitely was?

rg120. that was my first electric. have you gotten it properly set up since you bought it? highly recommended if you haven't. it'll run ya 60 bucks or so, but they restring, adjust the neck, set the action, etc, and you're guitar will feel so much better when you get it back.

now that i've heard that album, i also have to include modest mouse. '07 didn't turn out so bad for albums.

i imagine you can get something pretty pimpin' for half your budget, but 10 years...c'mon. do you remember what computers were like ten years ago? edit: i suppose that wasn't much help, was it? my brother just ordered one of those dell xps laptop dealies. have you looked at them? they fit your budget and requirements, and, unlike me, my brother knows a thing or two about computers.
