  1. saw it on the weekend. i don't know how annoying dakota used to be, cuz i don't remember her from anything else, but i really didn't like her in this. it was okay, anyway. not worth money to see, though.
  2. care to elaborate?
  3. andrew bird - noble beast (deluxe edition)
  4. i can never take that guy seriously ever after his daily show appearances and those commercials.
  5. my brain surgeon's a windows pc!!! aaaahhh!!
  6. megadeth discography, minus risk. edit: RIP thornley.
  7. i only know about fair to midland cuz mrs. jesus posted their last album here. i gave their newer album a try, based on my impression of that one, and it rocked my face off. i'm kinda surprised they haven't made it bigger than they have. maybe in time.
  8. thornley - tiny pictures. the jury's still out on whether i'll keep it or not. way too many layers of vocals on some of the songs.
  9. i think it's time to leave fargo.
  10. well, gaeta's dead, but it was kinda unsatisfying.
  11. the torch running ceremony leading up to the beginning of the olympic games is one of his legacies. the tv told me so.
  12. never heard them, but i downloaded the fleet foxes album to check it out, and i couldn't even get through two songs. they are not for this kid.
  13. gaeta needs to hang from the yardarm, which would be funny in space. adama needs to stand by his word and murder the mutinous dogs, instead of pussing out and letting them go like he did with that marine in the hallway.
  14. greasy hippie warning: never heard of them before.
  15. dude: that album is a horrible misrepresentation of both of them. i love them both and i hate that album. mrs. j: put me out? pshaw...honkey, please! i'll send ya a few. and calexico's newest album, carried to dust, is wicked. they carry me away to hot dusty sunsets somewhere else.
  16. you have the same internet i do. edit: i still have a bunch on my mp3 player that i was just about to delete. which albums do you want? if i have them i'll upload them before i ditch them.
  17. just deleted all the crowes i downloaded. they're okay, but if i were going to listen to something like them, i'd rather listen to led zeppelin. just downloaded a few dredg albums. enjoying them so far. just downloaded a bunch of mars volta. couldn't get into them before, but now i'm liking them.
  18. if it were an inside job, the terrorists would have been iraqi, not saudi. unless they screwed that up, too. i see those stickers everywhere, and assume that it's mel gibson from conspiracy theory putting them up. although....he ended up being right in the movie ;)
  19. explosions by a lot. though, i enjoy some others too. ps: mrs j: i wish i could see them live too. that's why you lying to them about the hot chicks (or dudes) is crucial.
  20. for miles davis, i'd suggest starting with kind of blue. probably his most famous album, and one of the most famous albums of all time period. musings of miles is probably my fav, though. i don't listen to much jazz, but i like miles davis. before he got all weird. glad you liked fair to midland. i pimp them on anyone who'll listen.
  21. you will not be disappointed. the only sorta weak track on that album is the last song. if they'd redone the last song (quince) from their previous, self done album, like they did with a lot of other tracks, it'd be damn near perfect. wish they'd get their asses back in the studio.
  22. weird...it's still snowy, cold and grey here.
