Who knows. I would admit from their posts they appear to be unstable. Or at least they are easily provoked. Either way, they stepped over the line, and are now banned. We'll never know the truth. Peace

I remember running stairs for wresting... of course I was wearing two sweeters and trying to drop a kilo to make a weight class... but that is irrelevant... Peace

Missle Defense Program...

That is true. Most ICBM's but Sir Isaac Newton in the drivers seat, using only small guidance thrusters for minor coarse correction. Peace -
I'm looking into it... Peace EDIT I've re-optimized the pdf, so it should work on Adobe 5.0. I had Anton check, the original didn't work for him, the new version does. http://homepage.usask.ca/~jal423/PDF/MGManifestos.pdf If anybody else has problems, let me know. As an added benefit, the new version is 3 mb smaller than the original. Peace

"There are no tits and ass in this room. Incidentally there are no people in this room. Which begs the question: if there where tits and ass, would there be people. And why are there no tits and ass" Peace

Missle Defense Program...

You say that as if it is thoroughly tested. The missile could implement thermal masking technology. The stealth bomber is not easily detected with thermal imaging. An ICBM could be launched under cloud cover, and could stay under that cover. As stated the ICBM would most likely posses many decoys that are able to confuses satellite imaging. Peace -
Indeed. But one has to ask, did they actually know that the plane was going to crash into a target. I mean THAT plane. We must consider the possibility that the plane was hijacked by another group, and they just planned to take the people hostage. If that where the case, then most of those lives could have been saved. The problem is that at the time the decision was made, nobody could have know what the intentions of those hijackers where. Retrospectively we know, but at THAT time, we couldn't have. Peace

My problem was I kept waiting for the old guy to bang the young chick... but it never came up... I think that I just wasn't watching well enough into the movie. Damn you male hormones!!! Peace

At Last There Is Nothing Left To Say

Sweet... mine in a first print. The I think the whole book is well done. One of my favorite stories though (The Commoners Guide to Suicide) isn't in the first print. Peace -
I want to work out, but I don't have the time. Nor do I have a partner to spot me on free weights. Peace

;) There is always one. Peace

shall we just drop that and talk about the Strings in Seriously Serious? Peace

I agree with Matt on a regular basis... he does put a lot of effort into his blog. Peace

kudos But if the bus totaled my car it would be a sweet story. Peace

I think that it is a huge dilemma question. I mean one the one hand you have the lives of all the people that would be at the target site. On the other hand, by shooting the plane down, you are now responsible for those deaths. Makes me think, it would be a hard call to make. Peace

If I get a chance I'll run it by one of my professors, they will have a little more real world experience with the kind of control systems that one would need to be able to effectively construct a missile interception system. Peace -
forgive the pun. I think something was lost in the translation for me. sorry, had to do it. I guess I didn't really get the movie... Peace

indeed... I was annoyed by the fact FOX was focusing on the missing Americans, with (what seemed to me) total disregard to the inhabitants loss of life. Given I don't watch FOX, that's a really bias statement. Peace

hmm... your the second person that's had that problem. What version of Adobe are you using? what OS? That will help me in debugging why the pdf isn't working. Peace

I'm still waiting to meet Matt... one of these times... The problem is that he performs in the agriculture exhibition center, so they park to tour busses in the building, and pull a curtain. After the show he gets in the tour bus, and once it's loaded it just pulls out and leaves. You never get to intercept him on the way to his tour bus. Next time he comes I'm parking my car in front of the exit door and refusing to move until I meet Matt Peace

It's quite possible that the strings where actually played by Matt or Ryan, and post proceeded in Garage Band or more likely in Pro Logic. But the effects sound like they could have been generated from an effect board or pedal combination. Peace

Missle Defense Program...

I'm not even sure it would be possible to build a defense system that wouldn't be obsolete at it's completion. Peace -
you just need an email service that can receive large files. Upgraded hotmail, and gmail will. Lot's of providers will bounce messages over 1mb. Peace
