So early reports seemed to indicate there was a breach of protocol by the pilot of the aircraft (flying with the autopilot on in bad weather). I guess it turns out that the autopilot will correct for the additional drag up to the point where the plane can no longer fly, but it doesn't give enough feedback to the crew. I'm sure we'll know more sooner or later.

I'm (unfortunately) in the USA right now... I'm enough of a fan right?! right?! Seriously though, I might fly to Vancouver. I'd ask Anton for a ride, but he ditched me for his "real" friends last time I was there ;)

Ouch, that hurts. I have had a few breaks, but I've pretty much been around here for 5 years. I would say that I'm not interested in a lot of the threads. I also don't post because I usually try to read most of the posts in the forum... replying takes too much time.

To be honest, I can't really answer. I haven't played the other games in the series. Since I have a PS3, I'm not allowed to experience older generation games.

Just finished Prince of Persia. It had decent game play, except the combat. But combat plays a very small part in the experiance. The ending to the story was lame.

I fly a lot these days, and it doesn't bother that much anymore. But I do think that we can't ever lose our respect for flight. People die because someone gets complacent. This is true with cars too... people get complacent, they drive to fast or push the limits. Planes are machines, and they can fail. If people stop respecting that it takes hundreds of working systems to lift several tons of metal from the ground, then planes crash. There are events beyond the control of anybody, but we can be vigilant and prepared for them.

The reason it happens is that certain tracks of Underdogs where published in the American version of BM, likely the server which iTunes searches for album art got confused.

Agreed, it has it's place. It is second to none on party games too. Well... I mean Rock Band is pretty awesome to. But Wii has a better selection.

I actually am a fan of photography. In fact, I did a few courses on it. I could in fact critique it from an artistic standpoint. On a further note, I don't have a problem with most nude are... there is some that pushes my limits (Maplethorpe, and Sally Mann come to mind). I'll admit that Maplethorpe is actually highly sexualized, so that could be why it pushes me (he was into S&M which pushes me). Mann took pictures of her children... it just seems a little exploitive to me. Oh wow, am I ever off topic. I went to do my profile, but I'm not sure what I'm supposed to do?!

I'm not actually familiar with the specific event you allude to. Though I would consider revising my point. The idea being the prior to all of the murdering, there is evidence to suggest that a great deal of positive things happened. Don't take this as a stand on either side, because it isn't. I believe that everybody is entitled to their opinion. I also believe that if anything you have said rings true, people will get out there and do some reading of their own. That being said, this has ceased to be productive. You are correct. It has often been theorized that if he had dropped dead prior to invading Poland history would record him as one of the greatest political leaders of all time. However, it's very hard to make the statement considering all the nasty stuff he did. Still the world benefited from the 'research' even though we don't like to admit it. Many medical advances came in part from the experiments that side stepped ethical concerns. Disturbing and scary, but it is true.

Did you save in the moment immediately preceding getting hit by a large fireball? I did that. Not fun, but I always play RPG's with a ring buffer of saves, that way I can usually step back far enough to correct my mistakes, but not so far as to have to replay hours.
