I think that gettting old is definitely part of it. Much is playing shitty shows now though, anyone who remembers a time before MuchMoreMusic can attest. THAT was the true turn around, I believe. Removing the grown-up material and making the channel blatantly teen-oriented left more room for filler crap. This affects both stations, in my opinion.

I haven't checked these out yet, but Oberst is being hailed by mainstream rock mags as the songwriting voice of our generation. I have large reservations about that statement, but I am willing to give them a shot. From what I hear I'm Wide Awake... is the far superior record.

Holy shit dude. Much DOES suck now. I'm surprised anyone saw and music on there to compare it to it's former self with. To be fair, it has always played mainstream music, but now it offers less chances to see different stuff due to all the time they waste on thier shitty reality shows. I watch Mcuh to see music videos, not what MTV is showing.

Man, who voted for Last of the Ghetto Astronauts? And not as a joke? I mean, seriously, you think nothing else Matt has made compares to that album? Sure a couple songs are really good, but, as a whole, it does not compare to even the Loser Anthems EP. the RAYGUN EP, even. Yeah I said it.

Totally, the DVD for Amadeus does that. We were in the middle of the movie and it just stopped, so we were like "WTF? There's only one disc" You had to be there... Also, I don't think they are availible in the NF Store, because I haven't seen them, and I still need All Together.

Worst show I have ever seen might just be Loverboy for not playing "The Kid is Hot Tonight" I didn't like Auf Der Maur on the Put Out Your Lights Tour, too boring. And Sloan is pretty by the numbers for their shows, too. I have it! Treble Charger! I think they played the same show each time I saw them, which was always to see other bands.
