Bruce McCulloch from Kids in the Hall was on a couple episodes, I think.

It'll probably be pretty good. I wonder though, what his take will be on it; his work is very self-aware when it is campy. As long as this doesn't stray into the self-parody route that most slasher flicks are taking, I think it could be a fresh take on a stale product.

Worst Performance Ever!

I thinkI'veseen them 3 or 4 times (again, opening for other bands that I wanted to see) and everytime they would ask for audience requests, play the opening of "Sweet Child O' Mine" and then play "Fight for your Right to Party" So boring. -

Just a little info you might not know, "Let It Be" was the last one released, but not the last one recorded. Abbey Road is actually considered the final Beatles album. As for "Naked", its more the McCartney cut of the album, not to say it isnt good or anything. Don't worry, I know all of this already, I just didn't want to make my post confusing. I figure anyone who wants to know can find out themselves with a little research. I appreciate the concern, though. And in my opinion, 'Naked' is the way better cut of the album, but I really don't like Spector's production on anything.

I couldn't get into the first one at all so I don't think this will do anything more for me. They got the scary music part right, but not much else. I found it really hard to actually care about any of the characters' well being. The same thing happened with Secret Window (which was much worse); when Johnny Depp is revealed to be crazy and goes after his wife, I was rooting for him. Both his wife and her lover didn't really have any redeemable qualities, so I was glad they got the axe. Or, shovel.

You can't use "the", that is just cheap, especially when there was so much great material there. I will, however, humour your choice, as I love that song. Hey Mama - Black Eyed Peas ...ugh... -
I have to recommend the Beatles, because if you haven't listened to an album of theirs, not just the singles, you are missing out. I started with Rubber Soul and worked my way up. Revolver is wonderful. Sgt. Pepper and Magical Mystery Tour are both interesting, I prefer MMT. The White Album is possibly my favourite, and a good one if you are looking for variety. A great, great rock album. Still, though, it has some filler to get around. I generally listen to disc 1 the most. Abbey Road is, in my opinion, for you only if you've listened to some of their other records first, but I may be wrong. I love it. The medley is heavenly. Their final album, Let it Be, should be heard in the 'Naked' version with the grey cover. The original release was soiled by Phil Spector's over production, whereas 'Naked' keeps the orignal intent of the album, which was to be raw, and with no overdubs. Just my opinion, but seriously, do not brush them off. I find that people my age are ignoring the Beatles or brushing them off as 'overrated' based on songs they've heard on the radio all their lives. The non-singles are where some of the best finds are, you just have to take the time to look. Please check them out if you haven't.

Yeah, but I didn't know that, so I'm guessing lots of other people didn't either and I thought it would be nice to spread the news.

That is awesome. Scarecrow will rule. Does anyone know if it is still Cilian Murphy (28 Days Later) playing him?

Much Music Sucks!

The wedge is the only show that I still watch wen I do watch Much. And I try to catch the Newmusic when I can, but still, two shows do not save that entire station's poor programming. And Hannah is the only good one left. -
Dave has now joined 54-40, apparently. Check it out here. Apparently Livesy is also producing. Small world...

There is still good music being made, you just have to look. That said, I completely agree that this is a stagnant time for music. I have taken solace in the Beatles, who can never really let me down. The problem now is that, unlike the Beatles' era, the artists that are the best at what they do and the artists who are the most popular are not the same artists.

Fans Of David Bowie....

"Changes" and "Rebel, Rebel" are two of my favourites. After I saw him live last year, though, I will never hear "I'm Afraid of Americans" the same way again. His band nailed it so well, the regular just doesn't do it for me anymore.
