I just saw it. I am pleased with it. Wasn't quite as perfect as I felt the Sex and the City movie was, but I am happy with it. I was all worried about the lack of humour, but I thought there was a good level of it. It was a "Monster-Of-the-week" episode, definitely. It had all the feelings of an old episode, but fleshed out with a tad more emo than I kind of wanted. But the Mulder/Scully relationship was well played out. Also some nice throwbacks and 1 surprise that made me squeal with glee. Don't forget to stay until the credits are over. It'll put a smile on your face. Well, it made me smile anyway. I felt like it was a fan service though. I agree, it certainly won't make any new fans.

Awww, no humour? I'm already going in disappointed. The little nuggets of humour was what made the really heavy episodes well balanced and not emo. I loved the all humour episodes. C'mon, who doesn't like "Small Potatoes" and "Bad Blood"? Just thinking about the funny eps, I can heard "Walking In Memphis" in my head...

So, would you say it's a fan service? What didn't you like about it? What did you like about it? I'm hopefully seeing it tonight...

Yeah, but generally, the movie was over processed with effects too. Story aside, it lost a lot of grittiness that the past 3 movies had because everything looked so...CG'd.

Well, Kevin goes to places for the coffee, I go for conversation and lounging, so atmosphere is important to me. Kevin is dying to go to Moderne Burger since it reopened. Apparently it has great food and atmosphere. We shall see. I feel bad for clogging the eat thread with all our Vancouver crap... I ate some spinach perogies from Choices. And Blue fanta. In a couple of hours I will be gorging myself on the edible clouds called BEARD PAPA <3

Man, I love Timbaland's work, but that sounds terrible. It's like he just took "My Love" sped it up and made it a bit higher, and stuck Chris Cornell's vocals in front of it.

Kevin rolls the americano dopio way too. Cafe Artigiano is nice, but I'm not really a coffee aficionado, so atmosphere-wise, they all sort of bleed together.

World's Fastest Chocolate Mousse But I've found you can pretty much substitute chocolate for any kind of jams/preserves/fresh fruit, and it's just as good. Personally tho, I enjoy eating silken tofu (or dessert tofu, as I've always known it), piping hot, with almond or ginger syrup, and ice cold canned fruit salad. Dim Sum-style!

Christine, you should try making chocolate (or strawberry) mousse with silken tofu. It's yums!

Watched an absolutely stunning Bollywood movie called "Saawariya" last night. Some scenes and the cinematography is stolen from Moulin Rouge, but the story and the music is completely different and equally as stunning at Moulin Rouge.

one of the guitarists is a good friend of David Usher's, so he plays/writes with DU now. Other than that, WHO CARES haha DU is the most important ;)
