  1. Yeah, there's already a David Usher thread. I make sure to catch him whenever he's in town. Strange Birds is pretty decent, I don't think I liked it as much as his last couple CDs tho.
  2. All I can think of is someone making a Lolcats macro. "i can has a cheezburger in can?"
  3. I am obsessed with those tuna and cracker packs, with the tiny gelato spoons... you think it's just as good?
  4. Does anyone else here think Matt Good sometimes looks like Ron Livingston, aka Berger from Sex and the City?
  5. If you're talking about my Kevin, he doesn't wear glasses anymore, he has contact lol Who is that anyway? Kevin looks like Data, remember? XD He just said he'd rather look like the above noted guy, than Data. No dice.
  6. I don't know how to describe Cibo Matto. They're quirky, sexy, jazzy, rock-y, I guess. Sometimes kinda whimsical and scary O.o Take a listen to their most famous single (music video directed by Michael Gondry!): Cibo Matto - Sugar Water Which, if you're a Buffy The Vampire Slayer fan, you'll recognize. Unfortunately, not much of the rest of their music sounds like that, with the exception of "Spoon" and the Dan the Automator remix of "King of Silence". If you can get past the Engrish, which, I personally think, adds a bit of character to the music, it's pretty catchy stuff. HypeM has of some of Cibo Matto's songs. Give them a try? If anyone tries them out, and has interest, I can upload the one album I have, called "Stereo Type A"
  7. Hard Candy is a great movie. I saw "The Namesake" this evening, very good movie. Finally, Kal Penn does a movie that's *not* retarded.

    New Song

*nods* I'm pretty impressed with this as well. I'm pretty over Hospital Music, and this is quite good.
  9. I'd also like to point out that Amon Tobin is an amazing live show. Trippy as hell. Who remembers Daft Punk? Anyone? Their new live album, Alive 2007, is gold. Daft Punk - Alive 2007
  10. So, has anyone tried this Jango site yet? It's like Pandora?
  11. Please say that with a Scottish accent next time.
  12. ;) Don't judge me over something I can't control. You have no idea how much LAN gaming and amusement park rides I miss out on
  13. I know it's like Blair Witch. ;) The only time I've *ever* had to leave a theater in the middle of a movie, is *that* stupid fucking Blair Witch movie. I thought it was odd that, when I purchased the ticket for Blair Witch, the person warned us that it was "a bit shaky" and you "might get a little headache-y", and that "there are no refunds after 30 minutes into showtime."
  14. Popcorn is irrelevant. Point is, I'mma puke ;) Stupid movie, trying to be edgy by using a shaky cam... No one thought of the poor motion sick children... Someone should have a telethon...
  15. haha, just for fun, because the Hot Chicks thread made me wanna: My friend and I had this running joke going in high school, that I would take Frohike (the guy in the middle) to Grad.
  16. I am still too scared to watch it. Popcorn is the most horrible thing to vomit in a theater bathroom, seriously.
  17. Ah, well, personal preference I suppose. ;)
  18. What did you find wrong with it?
  19. my friend just sent me a CNN link about it, and I thought it was a joke or something. How bizarre.
  20. Lovage's "Music to Make Love To Your Old Lady By" is one of my favourite albums. Mike's got this raspy, greasy, pervy sounding voice, and it's absolutely magnificent.
  21. Man, everyone's talking about how awesome Cloverfield is, yet I'm so reluctant to go, cos I know how sick I got in Blair Witch... I watched Transformers again, at home. Seemed a lot easier to keep track of who's who, when it's on a smaller screen.
  22. Mario Galaxy is the shit.
  23. Band Name: Surefire Hellfire Weaponlight Album Name: "Things We Haven't Been Taught"

    Dreams

I dreamed Kevin and I went on vacation to Disneyland, dressed a hamburger and hot dog. I was the hamburger. We road Thunder Mountain, and went home to go back to work. Work being Disneyland Vancouver. The background song was S Club 7's "Reach for the Stars". How odd.
  25. I super hate 80s music. Is Sweet Dreams an 80's song? or I love "Walking on Broken Glass" by Annie Lennox...
