You get a gold star in awesome, Dan. Also, for any Dr. Horrible fans with iPhones, you can put his van remote control on it! Dr. Horrible Remote Control Also, I heard that the Dr. Horrible DVD will have a singalong commentary. Yes, the commentary will be sung. Love you, Joss Whedon.

So when is someone *actually* a bitch/asshole?
-
The soundtrack went on sale on iTunes last night. I have listened to it far too many times. I am so ready for it to have it's own singalong night, just like "Once More With Feeling" has. \(^o^)/

I worked at an extremely ghetto Custom furniture place owned by this Persian family in Steveston. So ghetto. I hate to sound racist, but the way they ran their company really put me off. I thought maybe it was just that specific family, but a Persian friend of mine said that's just how it is. Bleh :S Also kind of shitty, working at a "Holistic" Pet Foods store, and having your manager tell you to hock the more expensive food, even if it wasn't the best choice for the pet. Also having an owner of the store who doesn't even own any pets, nor know anything about pets or pet foods. Fuck that shit. All the customers loved me, because I kept it real haha

I almost barfed when I saw that on the news this morning ;) Thank God everyone walked away from it tho. -
OH I'll get down on the tits. I'll get WAY down. Wait, what am I saying now?

Perhaps this is neither here nor there, but I just wish comic book/graphic novel film adaptations would be taken more seriously. I don't enjoy watching a graphic novel that I hold in high regard, turned into nothing more than and excuse to gorge on action, explosions, extreme special effects, and tits/pecs/abs in skintight uniforms. Which is why I admire Batman Begins so much, because it went beyond "Oooh Batman/Batmobile/Wham!/Blamo!", and took to real character development and intense storyline. I agree with Alex though, I also wish animation was taken more seriously as a medium as well.

haha I've never been to Oddysey, unfortunately. My gay friend's been trying to get me to come out with him and his "Fruit Basket", but I've sort of lost my drive for clubbing... But yeah...who hasn't done something risque in the opposite sex's bathroom? I'd love to hit up a changing room, one of these days.

haha sometimes you say stuff in a way that I find adorable, for some reason. And Charles, I'm sure you can figure it out yourself haha
-
Forgive me for being optimistic. ;) Enjoy your pee-stained boxers, boys. And Charles, never you mind haha
-
I figured they go into the stall and grab a few sheets before peeing? To be honest, I haven't been in a mens washroom for a very long time. And it certainly wasn't to pee.

You are so right.
-
That is so nasty :S probably TMI, but I greatly enjoy going down on a guy, when he's naked and fresh out of the shower. It's so clean and refreshing.
-
I would prefer that a guy always wipes, on the chance he gets a random BJ.
-
Odd...I have no idea how you could wipe your ass standing up :S
-
Shut yo mouth, Charles! ;) I actually think Edward Norton would make a good Spike Spiegel...or James Marsters. EDIT: Although, in retrospect, I think James Marsters is perfect for everything :S
-
Ahh, I'm looking forward to Watchmen too. Not a comic book, but I saw the trailer for Max Payne, and it looks far better than Hitman's treatment. Also, Comboy Bebop has been announced as well. Keanu Reeves is rumoured to be attached to the role of Spike Spiegel. I could vomit.
-
And I applaud you for it, Alex.
-
Can't watch the trailer at work, but I hope Gambit's cajun accent is as good as the animated cartoon's....

Seems like McClean's likes BNL tho, they've been on the cover at least a couple times... -

In response to the comments above: SPOILER (Highlight to View) I think the point of Batman saving Rachel and leaving everyone else w/ Joker was to demonstrate that despite the fact that Batman is a superhero, he's still a man, and makes human choices, which includes selfish choices too, especially when faced with losing the woman he loves. I think Batman's always struggled with having choice, and what to do. SPOILER (Highlight to View) I'd be interested in hearing more about how you thought the Gordon-death-plot was shoddily done. I don't agree, as I didn't see it coming at all. But I'd like to hear your view on it. Seemed kind of integral to the plot, since near the end, he points out he didn't want to put his family at risk, and inevitably he does anyway. So, I saw it yesterday, unsuccessfully in IMAX, because it was sold out, but it doesn't matter because it was beyond chilling. It lived up to the hype and beyond, as did Heath Ledger. It was stressful to see him on screen because he really was so unpredictable. Props to the director too, some of the scenes just made me gasp, they were so artfully shot. One shot in particular: SPOILER (Highlight to View) The scene where Joker is standing in the street, waiting for Batman to run him down. Also loved the fact that the action shots were not hard to follow, as is often the case these days. Two-Face was not nearly as grotesque as I had been expecting. He actually looked pretty CG...:/ A little disappointed with that.

Honestly, the way it ended, and the little tiny thing at the end of the credits, makes me feel like it's highly unlikely they'll do a 3rd movie. A reviewer on TV made a comment that made me think a bit. He said the movie wasn't scary or creepy at all, and to him, that made him feel like it had lost its X-files edge. It occurs to me that I never really watched X-files because it was "scary" or "creepy". I just appreciated the heavy storylines and character development...
