  1. The Shins. The Shazam. Interpol. Portastatic. Just my opinion.
  2. 'Yankee Hotel Foxtrot' was one of the best albums of 2002. It's the only one I've heard, though. I'm a huge procrastinater.
  3. Star Wars owns Bttf any day, any time, any place. Period.
  4. I heard that Chad Kroeger isn't working on their next album, instead they have Zak Wylde, who kicks serious ass as Ozzy Osbourne's guitarist, helping them to reach their potential. I guess that may put a stop to the 'Theory of a Nickelfault' jokes.
  5. http://mattgood.imgarbage.com/manifestos.php should have all the manifestos.
  6. With the dog trying to kill the chickadee, and the rat.
  7. I'll bring the lighter fluid and the party hats.
  8. In Winnipeg, the music director is supposedly good friends with Matt, and ASR was #1 here for three weeks. All the other dj's here enjoy his music. Hal Anderson, host of the weekly countdown said that ASR was his favourite song on the program, despite all the other corporate rock littered throughout. What I'm trying to say is that there's a lot of successful bands out there who don't have heavy rotation videos. I remember Matt saying on his blog that he wouldn't mind it if he never made another video again.
  9. Haha. those corporate whores. I bougt Audio of Being in grade 8, mainly for 'Carmelina' and 'Antipop', but there were a few other songs I liked. I found it too weird and hard to understand for the most part so I shelved it for about 8 months before I listened to it again and I was blown away. Thus began my obsession.I got 'Beautiful Midnight' and 'Underdogs' for Christmas and I bought the rest of the albums and never looked back.
  10. There was actually a few chapters from that released on the internet, I'm pretty sure, in August 2002.
  11. 1) Apparitions 2) Advertising On Police Cars 3) Weapon
  12. When Bush was asked to name three things he did that were mistakes, I was reminded of a political cartoon where Bush was doing dance moves. It said: "I dance, I duck, I wobble, I bob and weave, and I sidestep; but I never flipflop like John Kerry."
  13. Dave Brubeck=150% awesome jazz pianist. Listen to anything off of 'Time Out', particularily 'Take Five'. Excellent for just mellowing out.
  14. I watched most of it. Bush seemed pretty angry and fear-mongering, while Kerry kept an upbeat approach. Bush was spitting mad when he was talking in the first half of the debate. He seemed downright rude at times the way he was going on. He also has an 84$ timber company that lets him qualify as a small business owner. Bush couldn't give a straight answer when asked to name three mistakes he made. Kerry was quite calm all the way through and had a clear command of the facts. That was my impression. I think that Kerry won, but not by as much as the last debate, although I think that Bush's obvious anger will do him in.
  15. Well, wasn't that movie finished before ASR was released?
  16. What is happening to them? Basiclly, just being treated like shit. Muslim extremists target churches and innocent families. Christians have trash and human waste dumped in their property. They cannot practise their religion without being targeted eventually by crazy gunmen.
  17. I'm not so certain of that, I've seen relatively recent video of Dubya being drunk... You mean those videos from Bushisms.com? I don't know how recent those are, but I can bet that he's clean now.
  18. HAHAHAHA!! ;) Best doctored picture ever!
  19. That's true, but it really doesn't say much as to my actual safety....maybe if I became bilingual, then I could pass myself off as French.
  20. Harper to Bush: "Bend me over the table, Georgie!"
  21. I'd probably listen to some Miles Davis or Galactic, something smooth and not hard on the ears, and I don't have to think about what the singer is saying. Not that I drink or anything...
