There is 99% of the time no traffic in pittsburgh..and the show isn't near downtown. But an hour before traffic is certainly not worth it. well lets hope for a good set i'll hopefully see ya there!

is this a prequel to 2012? you, sir are very much in the movie know! ; ) 2012 was AWFUL.
-
meh..so so.. but maybe watching one episode at a time is part of the problem.. I watched gen kill n band of brothers basically all at once.

the 3 shows i've been to in canada were about 1:40..he's playing a bit less here and for a bit less money.. Have you decided if you're going to pitt or philly? I guess philly's a bit closer. I haven't been to the world cafe live yet, but the tickets are more expensive and there are other events going on at the "complex" or whatever xpn calls their venue. Parking probably is gonna be hell as well, and i'm not much of a fan of the neighborhood regardless of how many ivy league schools are in the area! I know Mr smalls in Pittsburgh is/will be a great place to see him and i'm sure you will be able to say hello before or after the show..parking/hanging out in pitt will also be much cheaper and easier. I don't know if that helps you at all but..here's to trying! ps - awesome to hear about the phoenix show...I never thought to go try and listen to a soundcheck...

have you considered going to the show in pitt on the way back? it's 2 1/2 hours from cleveland but it's really probably only an hour or so out of your way..buffalo is only like an hour or two from cleveland(quick shot up I90 ) you could throw in a trip to niagara falls..catch the pitt show on your way back(make a few day vacation out of it) That would be 3 shows in like 4 days plus a day in niagara/buffalo you can tack a day in cleveland n pitt on the beginning and end of the trip. It's fucking madness to drive 500 miles and just see one show. (i've driven from philly to canada 3 times to see him play)

I can't even bring myself to watch it after watching some of the intros..I downloaded the pilot but never felt compelled to watch it... I guess i'll give it a shot sometime. If battle start didnt' start out so strong/bond me with the characters I don't think i'd have made it very far(ie if you started in season 2) -
jesus crackers and soup do you guys read? THEY ARE IN THE LOUNGE - both of you are able to gain access and thus no one needs to hold your hand and pm them to ya.. It's cool enough someone took the time to rip them n save them for us in the first place.. You guys are what's wrong in the pirate community! no honor among thieves!!! ;) seriously - the time it took you to post you could have already just d'led them.

definitely hear that vibe in it, the softer side of mogwai as well..I feel like I hear MG guitar work in there as well. It's really really good, IDK how I feel about lyrics throw on it or not, guess we'll find out...the demos have been really good(I like vancouver, but these are like avalanche good sounding) I just hope he figures out how to put lonegun man on there...lyrics are really strong.. it's getting me jazzed up to see him play!

Best Of: The History Teacher Demos

Some of them are in the members only area on this site/aka the download hub : ) clearly i'm not alone, whispering in the dark is one of MG's best songs lyrically/musically.. fond of heathers like sundays a lot, as long as your mine, umbrellasless, dancing invisible, south of summer, the ocean - really most of them are good though. -
played through the campaign in MW2 - short, pretty good. The plot was good until the end, seemed kinda pointless at that point. Trying to get the hang of the multi player but really not liking playing with people that have all the weapons and are 70 levels ahead of me...pretty lame. I don't really like the HUD either, it's kinda hard to read(maybe it gets better) especially when you are having to pay such close attention to the game itself. I'm getting raped constantly, maybe it's teammates, but 99% it's me : (

Thanks for all the hard work guys...kinda off topic, but I gotta say i'm not feeling his cover of fake empire. I'm not much of a national fan but I do enjoy that song, something about it seems off, ohhhh well... wow... i'm ...i'm...idk...fuck.

thanks for posting that URH. -
I want a fucking pony... that can run 6 furlongs in less than 40 seconds consistently, thus making me millions. So yeah where's my fucking pony.

Anyone post MG playing fake empire yet?

I'm not a big fan of the national at all, but I do like that song quite a bit. I like to see him covering songs though it's cool to hear what he likes enough to learn to play. I'm hopeful he plays it in the states! Anyone have an recording of him playing this one? -
heathers like sundays - maybe : ) As long as your mine Whispering in the Dark is probably the best "love song" imo. MG really doesn't have much in the way of dancy pop love songs, heck he doesn't have a ton of love songs spun in a positive way at all.

I've only see dinosaurs on the imax and frankly it was really tough to see the whole screen and kinda left me unfulfilled. Plus it's like 2x as much... I'm eager to see what some of you guys think first before I hunker down on going.
