Could it be the lyrics don't "fit" and that's why they're demos? it wouldn't be the first time MG's put a true demo out.

I was thinking about this a lot the other day at work. Lets say for a second, we get the motivation(or crazy) to go blast up the theatre, and to rig your place to blow up. It kinda is "joker" so to speak. why the about face? Why not keep shooting in the theatre, I mean hundreads of people are filing out, he could have expodentially increased his targets. Why tell the police you rigged the place to blow up? Wasn't the idea to hurt people by doing it in the first place? Why surrender? Why get bullet proof stuff and then not use it. Don't get me wrong, i'm not condoing this, just curious why someone that just went off stops going off. Flash of conscience? That doesn't seem consistent with the events. edit: I just finished the last part of the article where it gets all super nuts. Meh, I don't think the FBI did it, but something more than just normal crazy going on.

Very much x2 gomo. Even with the caveat that some of his music reflects those same politial beliefs. He's outspoken for sure, but not to a point, imo where it's unsubstantiated. hopefully he can do a part to galvanize some positive change, even on a small level. Regarding gun laws, most of the people imo who listen to MG are not by any means a representation of the US as a whole. Most of "us" want to shoot shit and go to church on sunday. It's different, it's not going to change, no matter how many events such as this take place. If anything I think it moves people to want to buy more guns to protect themselves. This is coming from someone who's never shot or held a loaded gun.

It seems to me he's assessing both, and mostly personal/"wow I have a super rare item from someone I love" kind of thing.

The version of 99% I have is more complete than the one MG posted, but has more crowd noise(mostly me) and distortion from being a bit further back. I also briefly tried to tape the two (swinger) guys hugging,sadly it's really dark and you can't make it out. Well let me tell you buddy, you are gonna be in for a real treat tomorrow night.,.kinda. I just got back from his show in philly. Which about 100 people showed up for. When he went to play 99% the guitar wouldn't hook up to the sound system so he said fuck it pulled the crowd(haha crowd, the 30 people standing) to the front, and just sat down and played without the speakers. It was pretty bad ass. I got it on my phone, it sounds pretty good for being from a camera phone. I will upload it tomorrow. I hope someone got a better more clear version out there... That said the crowd was silent, other than singing along. I'm gonna try to do the set of memory, he was going off on all sorts of tangents, about generals, and people in peoples busniess. Something about jesus, he had a big talk about dave genn, ian, and geoff. set list- It's close to being in order. not from a scalper but from a private seller. I can't tell you how many tickets, cars, stuff i've gotten off CL. The key is not sending stuff to nigeria, or anything silly like paying first. Probably find a guy with an extra and meet you at the show or meet them before hand and do cash for tickets somewhere safe and in public.

This! Seeing AOB or BM in full would be awesome...I don't think the sound of the old songs has changed with different members, and it's not like the songs aren't being played. For me, it would be awesome to hear some of the old songs being broken out, regardless of "orginial" members playing them or not. Some of the pre-mgb would maybe more interesting.

Yeah, his facebook says something about needing help from the front row tonight, and mentions playing running for home. that would be epic. I hope it goes really well and he can incorporate it into his US gigs. Also anyone going/there youtube is your friend please post!!!
