So... who got a PS3?!

Ok - my living room has big windows on one side... and therefore is bright for most of the day. I also want the ability to play video games on it, without burning the screen... and I'd be using a Rogers HD box. What tv is for me? Plasma or LCD? I guess I'm just freaking out about destroying my TV with burned on video game images... I'm looking to buy a flat screen early in 2007.

Poll speaks for itself... I don't really know the difference between plasma and LCD tv's. I've heard you can only play video games on LCD because the image burns on plasmas... any truth to that? Let the poll begin.

How much do you think a PS3 will go for on ebay?

I think this is the first time that Nintendo isn't launching a mario game with its new console - what's up with that? I know Zelda is coming out at launch... but Mario games kick ass.

I was a nintendo man growing up, then I switched to PS2.... but now with the impending release of the PS3 and its huge ass price tag ($680 i think here in Canada... not including games), I don't think I can afford it/reasonably spend that much on a console. I'm leaning towards the cheaper-priced Nintendo Wii ($279)... but I need some opinions. So, what system would you choose and why? Try and take into account issues such as price, bugs/errors, game library, graphics, etc.
