  1. X-Rated Truffle Pig voted twice on the first page. Don't count two sets of votes (especially when I dislike his choices!) Overall, I must say that these songs are generally the weakest set of songs I've seen yet. 1)Agoraphobe 2)Euphony 3)Every Name is My Name 4)Native Son 5)Man of Action 6)Fall of Man 7)Born To Kill 8)Change of Season (I'm scared over this result) 9)Fated (a complete joke)
  2. So what exactly was the setlist to this show?
  3. Great show! I'd rank it just as high as the other four I've seen. Probably the best setlist out of them all actually.
  4. Nice pictures. I should have brought my camera as I had a fantastic ariel view the entire night with no heads to worry about.
  5. Oh no, thank you. It was a great show and well worth it.
  6. Are the Rodchester Kings songs up as well? I never actually got a chance to hear those.
  7. The Last Of The Ghetto Astronauts Woot.
  8. Yeah I was wondering where was AOPC but nevertheless great show. And it was the first out of my five times that The Future Is X-Rated wasn't played and I'm happy. As for the setlist, I think Oh Be Joyful was after Alert Status Red but maybe you have it right. The ending to The Rat live is always the highlight of any Matt Good show. I was ecstatic when I heard Prime Time Deliverance but I seemed to be the only one in my section that cared. Besides AOPC, I was hoping they'd play Avalanche but that's alright. Great show overall. OH and you missed The Man From Harold Wood as the opener.
  9. Sort Of A Protest Song.
  10. My guy dropped my price down to $35 which was very generous of him. As for you ummm try begging at the door? I have no idea haha sorry.
  11. Okay my post from above obviously failed miserably. Last try. All I want is ONE ticket for the London show this Saturday. I'll pay $40 for it. That is all.
  12. I'd kill to see Prime Time Deliverance live. Seen Matt Good four times before and has never played it. Honestly though, there has never been a better setlist than that.
  13. 1) The War Is Over 2) Load Me Up 3) Suburbia 4) Workers Sing A Song Of Mass Production 5) Symbolistic White Walls 6) 21st Century Living 7) Jenni's Song 8) Flight Recorder From Viking 7 9) Everything Is Automatic
  14. Alright. From my surprise, it turns out that the London show at The Drink is infact sold out. Matt Good hasn't sold out a show in London since early 2003 until now so kudos towards him. Now for my selfishness, I am in need of seeing Matt Good for the 5th time in either London or Kitchener. (#1) If anyone has an extra ticket for the LONDON show, I would be more than willing to pay a little extra for the show and I WILL have my own form of transportation. (#2) As for the KITCHENER show, I could acquire a ticket but I lack any form of transportation. The easiest way I think is if there is anyone from Hamilton out there who is willing to take a complete stranger like myself to Kitchener? It's probably asking for too much but I will pay for the gas money and anything related in that regard. That would be most appreciated but anything really will do the trick. Add me on MSN if you like at: [email protected] (two underscores) or send an email to that address, whatever works for you.
  15. In September 99, the MGB also opened for I Mother Earth which I saw. I was also at the 2002 and the 2003 show and you nailed the right bands. The 2004 show was AT THE DRINK with Limblifter/Auf der Maur. The venue was changed a week before from Centennial Hall to The Drink. I was there. Trust me. Also, four days prior to the Put Out Your Lights Tour at The Drink was the Muse show which was ALSO AT THE DRINK on Halloween. Four days after, I returned to the Drink and saw the setlist that you posted WITH Limblifter and Auf der Maur.
  16. I WAS at that show and The Dears did NOT open. You are thinking of the 2003 Avalanche tour with The Dears. Those songs are from the 2004 Put Out Your Lights tour on November 4th, 2004 AT The Drink with Limblifter and Auf der Maur.
  17. The Put Out Your Lights Tour was with Limblifter and Auf der Maur on November 4th, 2004 at The Drink.
  18. The last time as in The Put Out Your Lights Tour? It was pretty much half empty!
  19. ^Exactly what I'm thinking. Just in case if the London show IS actually sold out, would anyone be willing to drive a complete stranger from Hamilton to Kitchener? Don't worry, I'm not a cheap tipper. We'll split the gas money and I'll give a little extra for your oh so generous hospitality.
  20. I've been to The Drink well over six times, I love that venue. But this will be the first time that I'll be going (assuming it's not sold out and it WON'T be) when I am 19 years old so I can go upstairs on the amazing balcony seats.
  21. The Drink is always like that though. Usually, you can only pick them up at the door, Dr. Disc or Speed City Records in the city. There's no way the show will be sold out.
  22. That potential is pretty non-existant. I've seen Matt twice at The Drink and I have NEVER seen anyone selling tickets prior to the show. You know that you can still order them at the door. I highly, highly doubt that it is sold out. I didn't even pick up my ticket yet.
  23. Minimalistic, watered-down emo isn't cool.
