  1. I think I saw that interview too. Was it on the advertising channel for Rogers Digital TV?
  2. A pretty stinky year for music. Aside from the Mars Volta album, nothing worth noting. Honestly though. With Teeth was good, so was Takk... and The FutureEmbrace. I actually can't stand In Your Honor anymore. As for disappointments: Coldplay - X&Y (was supposed to be entirely different from A Rush Of Blood To The Head, oh please) Weezer - Make Believe (returning to the old sound? Oh please) 30 Seconds To Mars - (Watering down the artsy space elements and transforming them into friendly radio rock) Can't think of anything else but I'm sure there was more. I bought the Broken Social Scene album the other day but still didn't give it a listen.
  3. I respect the man, especially Mechanical Animals and Holywood. But I don't know what he was trying to prove with The Golden Age Of Grotesque.
  4. The Band has an ego the size of the Grand Canyon (aside from Jeremy) so don't count on it.
  5. I own the four Bush albums but I consider the Institute cd to be very generic. I've only listened to it once and not planning to again. Too much unnecessary distortion.
  6. Wow, I am late into this conversation. Someone likes the AOE and NOT Limblifter, how is that possible? Make A Pest A Pet > S/T, brutally. Ryan Dahle may be the best singer but Kurt Dahle better than Todd Kerns!? Come on. Razorblades and Bandaids IS the best song by Econoline Crush.
  7. I would go if the setlist was something like "Stealing Babies", "Car Crash", "The Wonderful Future", "If You Believe", "Potato Girl" and ecetera but I know they'd play generic tripe. Arnold Lanni & Mike Turner > You All.
  8. 1) Everything Is Automatic 2) Fated 3) Life Beyond The Minimum Safe Distance 4) Workers...
  9. Sadly, people don't even know who I Mother Earth are or even care about them. 1) Prime Time Deliverance 2) Flashdance II 3) The Rat Who Would Be KING 4) Symbolistic White Walls (it better be)
  10. The Audio Of Being > Beautiful Midnight > Avalanche > Underdogs > Last Of The Ghetto Astrnauts > Loser Anthems > Raygun > Lo-Fi B Sides > White Light Rock And Roll Review.
  11. Hate to lose Change Of Season. 1) The Rat Who Would Be King 2) Apparitions 3) Truffle Pigs 4) Sort Of A Protest Song (this one better be a sweep) 5) Entresol (definitely) 6) Advertising On Police Cars (The toughest match in the competition thus far) 7) Flashdance II 8) Running For Home 9) Weapon
  12. *bows down to your godly concerts*
  13. Correction, that song is THE most artistically indepth song that Mr. Good has ever made.
  14. Blue Skies Over Bad Lands was one of TWO noteworthy songs on the entire disc.
  15. Hey look it's Wednesday morning already!
  16. LOTGA completely owns you all. Can I vote for nearly EVERYTHING off White Light Rock And Roll Review? Mainly: Put Out Your Lights, Poor Man's Grey, In Love With A Bad Idea, North American For Life and Won't Get Fooled Again OH I MEAN Ex-Pats And The Blue Mountain Symphony Orchastra. For shame.
  17. I don't like hearing the same drum beat over and over.
  18. 19. Everyone must agree with this statement. The great songs are good/decent acoustically but the bad songs are good/great acoustically.
  20. Apparitions - Strange Days - Carmelina - Everything Is Automatic - Weapon - Hello Time Bomb - Load Me Up - In A World Called Catastrophe - Rico The Future Is X-Rated - {these two are arguably the same video] Anti-Pop - {these two are arguably the same video] Indestructible - It's Been Awhile Since I Was Your Man Symbolistic White Walls Alabama Motel Room Alert Status Red - While We Were Hunting Rabbits -
  21. Bump back to page 1 where you belong!
