I'm likely simply doing something wrong, but I can't get into the NF store. It says "an error occurred"--and I'm pretty sure the reason is that my account "has not been validated to use the store," since the error message says that this is a possibility for the error. But I also cannot email an administrator: when I try, that, too, gives me an error message that says that I'm not allowed to send them a message. So...help? Thanks in advance.

I'm fairly certain that the "Born of the sea..." line references the extreme minuteness of life in the grand picture. "Born of the Sea" refers to evolution to our current state, and "Blink, the sea is dead" refers to how close our end is to our beginning (on an absolute scale of time). We came (ultimately) from the sea, and not only us but the sea that we came from will be gone almost instantaneously on a cosmological scale.

Once again, can anyone help me out? (With finding 3 tickets.) Thanks a bunch.

Hi all--I am looking to pile up three tickets for the London show, so if you have an extra, please email me: I should be able to get back to you pretty much immediately. My email address is [email protected]. (I tried to click on the "email" link to email those who say they have an extra available, but the site says I'm not allowed to use that feature.) Thanks a bunch; I'm willing to pay more than face value if need be. And again, I'll definitely buy single tickets: I'm pretty sure I'm not going to get all three from the same source. Also, can anyone who's gone to the previous shows on the tour speak to the potential of getting a ticket or two outside the show? Were there a few people selling tickets? Thanks for your help, everyone. Edit--If, alternatively, you'd like to just post that you have a ticket available here and let me know how to reach you (rather than emailing me), I'll definitely do that, too.

I seriously hope not. I'd rather have the "few years of off time" discussed last week than a country-style album akin to the "bonus" song on WLRRR.

I am a fan of the current "crowd-singing" technique, although that doesn't seem to show up as well on the recordings of the shows as it does when you're there with the singing people.

Thanks, Bloodflame; I've been having lots of fun! Slow, 56k fun...(but that's no one's fault but mine!)

I'll go with Giant on this one.

Chalk me up for black...actually, I already did that myself.

If I have to pick one song (which I think we should all be required to do in a post like this), I'd say I Miss New Wave.

"last Show For A While. Maybe Even A Few Years"
phoenix9797 replied to C-Bacon's topic in Matthew Good
Here's how I see this, I guess: a tour just ended, so nothing was to be expected for a decent amount of time anyway. There are things that could be released already (as was mentioned right before my post), so perhaps an EP might be in the works. The full-length hasn't been around all that long yet, so we'd be waiting quite a while for a new one of those as well...we were set up for a sizeable wait either way, so if it's a little bit longer, well, then just pretend it's taking a while to produce the new music, if that's what you need to do. We were in for a wait already, so an announcement that we're going to have to wait shouldn't really be a big deal. -
I think it would be interesting, if it were possible, to see which songs tend to get "messed with" over time. That is, which songs get acoustic versions, altered verses, different mixes with other songs, etc. Of course, I know that this might be just as tough as obtaining setlists from LOTGA shows, but still, anything at all would be interesting.

Thanks for the help--I'll try it tomorrow! (it's getting late now...)

'a Long Way Down' Is An Underrated Song
phoenix9797 replied to Moonlight_Graham's topic in Matthew Good
I'm personally not a Long Way Down person; it's the kind of song that I'd feel like I have to wait through if it were played at a concert, the type that I'd be thinking "he could be playing so many better songs right now!"
